Our little mini dachshund loved going to these classes. Angela was great and patient. Though we had a few dogs that were having problems ..well that is what classes are for too. So we all had to learn some patients with some laughs as well. We got through the classes and even earned the Canine Good Citizenship Award. Let me say this though. If you are going to the classes.... you will HAVE to work with your dog in between going to classes. If you aren't going to "practice" with your dog at home then these classes aren't going to work for you pretty much. You will get out of it what you put into it. Your dog will rely on you to work with him'/her. Also, If your pup is having a specific problem then go talk to Angela about it . We did did. She gave us some great tips for us to work on at home. Plus I think there was a dog with a pretty severe problem and she had them come in another evening to work with them and the owner. Our little Sasha did great and...yes several times a week I still go over the things we learned. Especially the things like come, drop it, stop etc. These could save your dogs life some day. Also, because we had learned "leave it"...when our Sasha chased and caught a rabbit...and I hollered leave it... she dropped the rabbit... it was fine...and went on it's merry way. To have a dachshund, or perhaps any dog, drop something it chased and caught is pretty remarkable. So practice is important we think. Anyway, we look forward to some future classes for tricks and such and so glad we went. Thanks Angela and the other who worked with us.
