Cindy's Puppy Training School

My puppy and I completed the Puppy I class and are now on to Puppy II. I have never owned a puppy and my girl is a large breed so I felt that it was important to take some classes and learn from someone who knows what they are doing. My puppy definitely needs the group classes. She is doing great with training at home but is a bit crazy and does not listen as well when the excitement of other dogs is present. Cindy has been patient with us and is so encouraging even when I’m getting a little discouraged or feel like I am doing something wrong. She is very good at constantly reminding us that our puppies are just that, puppies. They are young and still learning and patience is key to training. I appreciate everything that my puppy has learned so far and I am excited to continue training here and to continue watching the progress that my pup makes.

Cindy is amazing! I showed up with a brand new puppy and never having taken any training lessons before. She was so patient and tailored our private sessions to where Maxwell and I were at. I learned how to communicate more effectively in a way that made sense to him. It also strengthened our bond and laid a solid foundation of trust. We use our skills every day! And I felt much more equipped to add a second dog to our pack after having worked with Maxwell at CPTS. Looking back, I am SO proud of the progress we made from our first day. We are proof that humans are teachable!
