Cindy's Puppy Training School

Me and my German Shepherd puppy, Leila, are in Cindy's Puppy II class, and we both look forward to going every week. (Leila told me that herself :)) What I love about Cindy is the fact that she has so much experience with dogs. She's literally been working with them her whole life. But she's not one of those people who teaches that it's "her way or the highway." She understands that every dog is different and learns at their own pace. She also understands that every dog mom/dad is different! She is also very accepting. A lot of people are wary of German Shepherds, but Cindy has never expressed concern nor excluded Leila from the rest of our little puppy pack. This is great because I'm working very hard on socializing my little one to be a great companion that I can take everywhere for the rest of her life. I love learning from Cindy because she isn't "force based," she is encouraging and we concentrate on rewarding the dogs for good behavior instead of punishing them for bad behavior. I don't think all trainers can say that. I'm very comfortable in her class - she knows how to maintain control of the room (puppies can descend into chaos if you're not careful.. lol!) but she always keeps a gentle voice and a gentle hand. Her prices are also very affordable, which is great because I love supporting local business! Me and my Leila will definitely be sticking with Cindy until Leila's training is finished.
