I brought my 8-month-old Airedale Terrier to Christian K-9 Academy, and the experience was life-changing. From the start, they were incredibly helpful in assessing my dog’s background and tailoring a plan to meet my specific goals. My dog did the Board and Train program, and Dean was phenomenal. He provided consistent updates and used his professional judgment to suggest extending the stay from 15 to 20 days—explaining the "why" every step of the way. The results speak for themselves: I wanted stress-free runs and walks, and now my dog heels perfectly by my side and sits automatically when I stop. What sets Dean apart is the post-training support; he’s always just a text or call away to help us adjust now that we're home. If you want a trainer who genuinely cares about both the dog and the owner’s lifestyle, this is the place!

This was my first experience with a professional dog training program. There are not enough superlatives to describe my experience. I picked up Riff from the 10-day board and train puppy program yesterday. I was taught how to walk him on a leash and today he proved he learned the lessons. And so did I. We went on a 1.5 mile walk. No pulling, no distractions. He stayed at my side. He’s following commands. This is an impressive business with the finest people who show great pride in their work. You can see it in their eyes. We will be back for off-leash training. And boarding. Special gratitude to Dean. Thanks for the videos! It was great to see Riff’s progress over the 10 days away from home. Price: you get what you pay for! A well- behaved dog is a worthy investment.

We had a great experience working with the staff at Christian K-9! Dean lead the training for our 1 1/2 year old mini Aussie. Dean kept us updated on his progress which was so helpful and reassuring. This was Waylon‘s second training on the use of the E collar. The difference With Christian K-9 and Dean‘s approach, really helped us to understand the E collar. He demonstrated in person using it on the day that we picked Waylon up. We did not get that with our previous trainer and felt very frustrated and had pretty much given up on using it. We feel now that we have the tools and the support to really work with Waylon and improving his obedience. We would highly recommend using Christian K9. It is a beautiful facility and beautiful property. Your dog will be well taken care of in their hands!

My dog, Mushu, is scared of everything! We couldn’t go on walks because every little noise spooked him. I live in an apartment complex and taking him outside to go to the bathroom was a nightmare. We would sprint outside, he would pee/poop as quickly as he could and then start sprinting back. Sometimes, he would get too scarred as we were running over to the grass to even go and I couldn’t walk him around because he was too scarred and all he would do was try to run back to the building. He would not go pee and poop in the same trip so I would have to take him down to pee, sprint back to my apartment, wait 30 minutes, and then go back out to poop. And if something scarred him to where he wouldn’t poop, I’d have to try again later. After reading Christian’s K9 Academy reviews, I decided to do the 20 day board and train. Additionally, the fact that this facility trains police/ military dogs sold me. Dean was Mushu’s primary trainer. He sent me video updates 3 times a week and his progress made me very optimistic! I was very worried that Mushu would revert back to his old ways once he came back to me. Dean did an amazing job teaching me how to control him and I had no issues when Mushu came home. I am able take him on walks and not dread ever second of it. His head stays right at my knee and he stays at my pace. Now, we walk around and he pees and poops in one trip! Little battles!! He is still a nervous little nelly but now he has the training and discipline to allow him to do normal dog activities. I have also noticed a huge reduction in his nervous antics such as shaking. It was very intimidating, spending the money on something where I wasn’t certain of the results. WORTH EVERY PENNY! If you have a difficult dog, or any type for that matter, this training makes a night and day difference. I am beyond thankful to this team or making my life, and Mushu’s life, so much easier! I highly recommend this facility!!
