Chomps Dog Training is a professional dog training company that specializes in boot camp dog training (also known as board and train stays). Our goal is to help dog owners develop a better relationship with their dogs based on trust, love, and respect through balanced dog training. We offer adult dog obedience training, puppy training, and behavior modification for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. Every program includes daily training sessions, walks, exercise, quiet time, proper socialization with people and dogs, and field trips to public spaces. This program is for aggressive, reactive, or severely anxious dogs. We will work on problematic behaviors, build up your dog's confidence, and train them in on- and off-leash obedience. All behavior modification courses are done through board and train stays (minimum of 4 weeks).

Get your dream dog in less than 3 weeks. After graduating, your dog will sit, down, heel, come, load up into the car, stay, go into their crate, & stay on their place bed both on- and off-leash. We will also remove any unwanted behaviors. All obedience programs are done through board & train stays.

Chomps did a great job training our new pup Archie. After just a few weeks, Archie knew a ton of commands and was fully housebroken. Would def recommend Chomps to everyone.

I have two beautiful Rottskys, Gypsy is about 6 I adopted her march 2021 history completely unknown and cypress I purchased from a woman who had an accidental litter with her Rottweiler and Husky. Gypsy was a wild girl with no manners she was a bit of a bully and acted out in very strange and intense ways, basically making it impossible for me to leave her alone. I was fostering her at the time and we had an instant connection, when we were together she was wonderful, she’s very smart eager to please.if she didn’t get her way she was impossible, and she only ever wanted to be by my side. Cypress was 11 weeks when I brought her home, July 2021, she was scared of EVERYTHING, me, sounds, her own shadow.. she wouldn’t go to the bathroom outside because of cars and people.. also she growled at me, hid under chairs tables.. pretty much anything and everything.. Both girls went to training Gypsy for almost 6 weeks with Nick and his team. Fast forward and the girls are doing so amazing. Gypsy has blossomed into such a happy, secure, affectionate girl who can be left alone in her kennel without a fuss.. also slowly but surly trusted more alone outside kennel. She loves being included which now with her excellent manners she gets to almost everything with us since she knows how to behave in any situation. I can finally trust her in my car if I need to run in somewhere real quickly. It’s amazing. Not even our year anniversary of adopting her yet! Such a huge success story. Meanwhile baby cypress improvements are leaps and bounds from the unsocialized back woods weirdo that growled and literally bit Nick at her first puppy session with him. Now she’s a bubbly, sweet, playful, smart girl that loves to cuddle and lounge around the house, it’s incredible. We continue to make improvements daily but they are just a joy to be around and take on adventures.
I have reviewed Chomps before. Our Standard Poodle, Kansas, was trained by Nick and his crew. We sent him to Nick when he was 6 months old. He is now 19 months old and his training stuck. Reinforcing the training is key! Kansas periodically goes to Chomps for a bit of a refresher when we go out of town. 100% believe in and trust Nick!!
