Nick, Lauren, and their caring staff literally saved our home from distress. We adopted a 2nd dog and were soon out of our element , this one, Payton , had us lost & worried as he was not responding to basic commands and training we've used with our other dog. They are professionals, who are extremely thorough and accurate in assessments, planning, and lessons. Results are beyond expectations. We are extremely thankful they entered our lives, and truly brought resolve to a very stressful problem.

I would give way more than 5 stars if I could! First off, Lauren and Nick along with the entire team of trainers at CDT are incredible. This was our first time training a puppy on our own and I really felt that these guys were by our side every step of the way. We really struggled with crate training and walking on a leash, and Lauren was always more than willing to hop on a phone call with us to assess the situation, figure out what’s going on and help us train our puppy correctly. She is also incredibly responsive to any questions we would text her, would send us helpful links to products to try or sounds to play to smooth his anxiety. We got our pup from Helping Paws shelter in February and immediately enrolled him in puppy preschool. Ozzie loved getting to build his confidence through the agility courses (mainly the tunnel) and meet new puppy friends. It was also a great way for us to check in with other puppy parents to hear where they struggled or hear their tips as well. This program really taught us how to socialize Ozzie well so that we can take him anywhere. Once he graduated from preschool, we enrolled Ozzie in the 14 day Stay and Train and let me tell you that when I say he came back a different dog, I really mean it. His crate training improved immensely, he walks like a CHAMP (no more racing after cars or endlessly pulling us into the street, waits patiently when other dogs or cars come by), and listens to all other commands really well. My only complaint is that he no longer needs treats for training so now we have too many! Honestly by the time we left I think Ozzie was sad to leave. I could rave endlessly about how amazing this team is, but in summary Chicagoland Dog Training is led by incredible people who clearly love dogs and love the work they do. Their program is phenomenal and worth every penny. Thank you!

We cannot thank Nick, Lauren, and the rest of the Chicagoland Dog Training team enough for the wonderful partners they have been with our sweet dog, Winnie. This team is WONDERFUL! When we brought Winnie in for her first evaluation, I had my doubts because she was a puppy. Winnie just graduated from Basic Obedience, and the difference in her behavior is unbelievable! Now when we take her on walks or out in public, she listens to commands, she watches us, and she responds right away to gentle reminders. We took her on a walk tonight in a forest preserve, and we received so many compliments on how well she behaved around other people and other dogs. Nick and Lauren are so patient with pet parents - they truly care about the dogs and their families. We are so grateful to have the Chicagoland Dog Training family in our lives!
