Chessieville Bay K9 Training

I live in Westchester NY and drive 90 minutes to Chessieville and its worth the drive. Chessieville is beautiful, clean and the dogs can run around free along the farm like acres. Heike groups the dogs by personalities so they play well. I have been going there for years and it gives me great pleasure to see my 2-80lb big babies jump out of the back of my SUV when we get there. I have left them with Heike from 3 days to 2 weeks and she keeps me informed and I know she cares for them as much as I do. Thank you Heike and it is a pleasure to write this review.

We’ve been bringing Lola to Heike’s for 4 years now. She was actually a life saver to us. Lola is our third golden retriever and is, by far, our most challenging dog. She’s got an amazing amount of energy. With Heike’s help, both in training and boarding, Lola has become our family dog. She is amazing on and off a leash. She’s still a bit crazy, but we’ve embraced her “insanity”!!! Heike has a wealth of information about dogs. Including what food to feed her that might affect her hyperactivity and vet care, which immunizations might affect them. We love Heike!!!❤️

Heike's Cheesieville Bay is truly top notch. Great training and beautiful farm for boarding or daycare. My golden visits at least twice a week for puppy play time. She spends hours running and playing in the securely fenced fields and never fails to return home happy and exhausted. Heike limits the number of dogs so that she can give each the attention it deserves. I would not even consider taking my Bea anywhere else.

We just started training classes here for our 2 dogs. They're both over a year old and have very little basic commands down. After just one training session their listening and ability to follow commands was great! She trains them at their own pace and makes it fun for the dog and teaches you how to watch the animal to see when they're ready to listen and that they want to listen, which is a very effective method! We're looking forward to working with Heike since she is very knowledgable and effective - while making it enjoyable for the dog!
