Cherry Hoggs

Cherry Hoggs is incredible! We adopted our girl, Luna, in May 2022. She was a stubborn and anxious 4-year-old hound who ignored our instructions, jumped 5ft fences, and ran away frequently. We were told she probably shouldn’t be in our fenced backyard without a leash and could never be off-leash. We found Cherry Hoggs, and it’s been the best thing ever! Luna fell in love with visiting Charlie and Frankie and learning how to be a part of a pack. They taught us how to communicate better with Luna, so she wasn’t anxious anymore. Luna learned that it isn’t okay to jump fences and was able to run off-leash with the rest of the pack! She transformed into a happier, calmer dog who didn’t want to run away anymore. A literal miracle that we thought would never happen! We are so thankful to Charlie & Frankie at Cherry Hoggs for helping us give Luna the best life!

We found Cherry Hoggs on Instagram- their posts featured them walking dogs in packs, dogs being extremely active and happy in all kinds of terrain and weather,. I must've watched those videos for 6 months and then got ahold of them, Our dogs, Icy and Hazel, are two of the friendliest, most gentle and gorgeous (brother & sister) white English Labs who are also built like tanks. Although these two are my 3rd double sets of labs, these guys are so much stronger than my other labs, that walking them became a painful nightmare from them pulling on the leash. I honestly almost had my shoulders pulled out of the sockets. I tried everything I knew using my own set of skills to get them to stop pulling but it just didn't work. We adored our dogs in the yard, in the house, but walking them was miserable. We also could never imagine taking them to an off leash dog park because their recall was iffy. One day I just phoned the number on the website and wound up talking to Charlie for about 30 hilarious Cockney accented minutes and was able to secure spots for Icy and Hazel at "boot camp". I can honestly say that within 3 weeks of being under Cherry Hoggs tutelage (2-3 days a week), and a private training session with Charlie teaching ME how to manage them on the leash, not only were they much more obedient (which by the way makes dogs much happier) they also lost enough weight from pack walking to make a huge difference in their energy levels. We now take them to an off leash dog park every single morning because their recall skills are excellent-MIND YOU, you, as the owner must be vigilant with practicing and training them as well. Charlie and Frankie are both so genuine and honest and funny that you somehow wind up thinking they are friends you'd like to have over just to hang out! I highly recommend Cherry Hoggs! They get 5 stars for excellent training and exercising dogs. Charlie is a dog whisperer! The only down side to Cherry Hoggs for me is the cost. I know they are truly worth it as far as skill and results are concerned, but I do think it would be fair to offer some sort of package discount, or loyalty program or something to defray the cost. (Especially with two dogs!😬) That is my only suggestion, otherwise they are pure magic with your dogs!

Cherry Hoggs was a total game changer for our pup! We adopted a 2 year old cattle dog mix who, while very sweet to most, was showing some aggressive/protective tendencies and was quite stubborn with training. After taking her to bootcamp we started seeing results almost immediately. Being able to have a drop off and pickup debrief with Frankie and Charlie was so valuable so we knew what to work on with her until next time. She gained a lot of confidence around other dogs as well since she hadn’t been socialized much previously. Highly recommend Cherry Hoggs!

Cherry hogs has been fantastic. There training is fantastic and thorough, whether you have a new pup or a 4 year old like I do. The camp is outside and inside and isn’t just a cement room.l..like some camps. The value and cost is so with it! They also have a day camp that’s fantastic for your dog if they just need some socialization will on off leash walks! My dog now can be off leash for walks and in the yard. Strongly recommend to anyone in the area. Harley loves Frankie and Charlie and Al the Cherry hogs family
