Centurion Canine

When I brought my 2-year-old German Shepherd, Maverick, in for his evaluation, it was clear that he had so much potential but lacked the confidence to fully thrive. He was a timid, under-confident young dog who struggled with fear around men and often looked to me for reassurance in unfamiliar situations. After his evaluation, David recommended Maverick for the 6-week Board and Train program. From the very beginning, they took the time to understand who Maverick was as an individual dog and what he needed to succeed. Their knowledge, patience, and genuine care for him were evident every step of the way. The transformation they helped create has been nothing short of amazing. Maverick came to them as a fearful, uncertain young dog, and came home with a level of confidence I never thought possible. He came to them with a fear of men, and today that fear is gone. He is comfortable, confident, and able to navigate the world without the anxiety that once held him back. Not only is he reliable on and off leash, but his focus and engagement are incredible. He is no longer constantly distracted by everything around him and is able to remain calm, attentive, and responsive in situations that would have overwhelmed him before. We dropped our 3 year Cane Corso off for a 6 week board and train. He came to us with reaction problems to people and dogs. When we picked him up, he was a completely different dog. He is now able to be around other dogs (featured on Wednesday play times), and is much more confident around strangers. He understands the rules he needs to follow and he is a much happier pup for it. I would recommend Centurion to anyone, anywhere!

I cannot recommend the entire staff at Centurion Canine enough! From the very first phone call I had with David, I knew I could trust them. My dog Cooper did their 6 week day train which I really enjoyed being able to learn alongside him and watch him grow week by week. Every session spent with his trainer, Victoria, was thorough, informative, never rushed. By the end I gained a completely different dog. I went from never being able to take my eyes off him, to off-leash running through fields on our hikes. I can enjoy my life and give Cooper the very best after the training and care from Centurion Canine!!

When my girlfriend and I rescued our dog, Cooper, he was sort of a behaved dog. But, he was very mischievous and would not listen very well. We tried teaching him our way, but after a certain point we decided training was needed. We found Centurion and had the consultation. After the consultation we knew they were the ones we could trust to properly train Cooper! We decided to do the 6 week, day-train program. After a few classes we could notice a difference in Cooper and his obedience. We love to take him for walks, and we can finally take him on walks while also enjoying our walks. We aren’t fighting him, and half the time we have him off leash roaming free because we trust his training to be able to recall or heel next to us with a simple command he learned from Victoria and David. With our next dog we will definitely be bringing them to Centurion Canine to do the same training as well!

I would recommend Centurion Canine to anyone! My dog did the 6 week day train program and it completely changed our lives. He doesn’t drag me on walks, he goes off leash, and the stressors around taking him out in public have gone away. Mariah was great throughout the entire process and still continues to be great when I text and ask any questions regarding my dog and his training. I cannot thank the staff enough for all of the help they’ve given me with my pup.
