CCK-9 Academy

My husband and I did a 3 week board and train for our 3 year old german shepherd husky mix. He is a sweetheart but we had a very hard time managing him and his quirks. He was very anxious and reactive around other dogs and people. He needed constant stimulation and is very high energy and we were exhausted caring for him every day. He was very difficult to train ourselves since we didn't really know what we were doing and we had sort of resigned to just managing him and accepting that he would never be a well behaved dog. But after seeing him getting worse with other people coming over, we decided we needed something to change before any of his behaviors escalated further. So we reached out to Deb, who we knew from a friend, and I am so so glad we did. Our boy now walks well on a leash and doesn't pull, he listens when we ask him to go lay down. He enjoys training and actually listens and takes treats now, even in other environments. Today I took him to lowe's for the first time since he got home about a month ago and he genuinely surprised me at how well he listened and behaved. I am having a blast with him for the first time ever honestly and feel like I have a new dog. Same goober as before but listens and behaves. We obviously have moments that aren't perfect and he is still learning and breaking old habits, and so are we, but we never could have gotten to this point without Deb and CCK-9 Academy. I highly recommend if your dog needs anything from basic training to behavior modification. Also the pricing is very reasonable and they have financing options, including a 0% interest option depending on credit! That's what we chose and it was super helpful.

Hank was enrolled in the 3 week board and train at the CCK-9 Academy and he does appear a lot calmer than I remember, and I noticed right away how quickly he picked up his verbal cues, before I would need to repeat "sit" multiple times but now he will sit right away with just one verbal cue! He's only been home for a day, but he definitely seems calmer to me. Hank appeared to have the best time there, he loved all his trainers!

I just got my Rottie back from a three week board and train and i cannot recommend this place enough! My pup is still a baby but he’s come back calmer and understanding while still having the energy to still be a puppy running around! Deb and Bri are amazing trainers and i cannot thank them enough for training my pup! Best part is that Deb is knowledgeable in the Rottweiler breed and it was a perfect match for me. If you have a busy schedule like myself, please consider thinking about this program. Best part is they have payment plans for whatever training you decide to do with CCK-9 academy! Whether it’s group, personal, or train and board, i will always recommend this place! Thank you again!!
