I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Cave Creek K9 Training! Once we brought our 9 month old German Shepherd home, we were amazed by her transformation. German Shepherds are incredibly smart but can also be very strong-willed, and we were struggling to manage some of that energy at home. From day one, Rodd had such a calm, confident approach that immediately put us and our dog at ease. Not only did our shepherd learn all the essential commands, but Rod also worked with us so we knew exactly how to reinforce everything at home. The difference in obedience, focus, and overall behavior is night and day. Walks are enjoyable now, guests can come over without chaos, and our bond with our dog has grown stronger than ever. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands German Shepherds and has the knowledge, patience, and skill to bring out the best in them, look no further. Rodd with Cave Creek K9 Training is absolutely incredible, and we are beyond grateful for the results!

Our 2.5 year old GSD had leash reactivity and he was in desperate need of socialization. He walked well on the leash, but not to my liking. Rodd fixed all of this and then some!! We really liked how our GSD was able to live in Rodd's house as if he were adopted. This is the part that really fine tuned our dog. We're so incredibly pleased with the positive affect Rodd's training had on our dog and our family!! If you have a GSD, then you better not take them any place other than Cave Creek K9!!

Rodd helped our two year old Golden rescue really bloom. After the time with him she is not as skittish and is much more loving. I can walk her now, and she obeys all of her commands. We are very happy with the training.

Couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable & patient puppy trainer. Rodd was always available to answer any question or concern that I had with our puppy. So very thankful that we found Rodd & highly recommend him.

Rodd was patient, kind & extremely knowledgeable! Although it was difficult for me to drop my dog off, for 3 weeks, Rodd kept me informed of Enrique's progress through texts, videos and pictures. I got so much joy watching Rodd give Enrique a solid foundation in his obedience & helped him build confidence so he isn't so insecure & skittish. Rodd gave me insight on how Enrique thinks & gave some great tools that I now use daily. Now our walks are enjoyable & we have an even deeper bond so Thank You Rodd! I highly recommend Cave Creek K9~
