Cave Creek K9 Training

I highly recommend Cave Creek K9. Their 3 week training program gave Fitz my 8 month old boxer puppy a great foundation. Rodd gave me some great tools and training methods to work with Fitz and enjoy a behaved puppy. They also provided great guidance for me. Truly super good at their kraft, they treat their guest (dogs) well and are a pleasure to partner with. Im looking forward to working with Rodd for all of my dog training needs. Great value for the investment.

Rodd is very attentive to the dog and the dog owner’s needs. We left our 6 month old, rambunctious, Bernedoodle in his care for the three week boarding training. He sent pictures and videos of her progress. He took time to train the owner’s 😊 when we picked her up. The transformation is remarkable. She is calm, obedient, less distracted, I could go on. I definitely think I received great value for the investment. We’re going to live happily ever after.....

I recently received a German Shepherd puppy at the age of six months old. My puppy began to show signs of aggression towards people and other dogs while we were out on walks. He would drag me around, bark, raise his hair, and really intimidate anybody coming close to us. I have never had an aggressive dog before and I was very scared I would have to get rid of him for fear he was going to stay an aggressive dog and a liability. I Contacted Cave Creek K9 and was greeted by Rodd who was very informative and give me hope over the phone. Rodd came to my home and showed me basics of how to communicate and expect proper results from my simple commands. Essentially how to “speak” to my dog and also how to correct him when he did not listen. His training is positive for both dog and owner. We met once a week and I would work on the homework Rodd would give me during the week.To my absolute surprise, my dog caught on very quickly and looked forward to using his brain and doing things properly. Today was our fifth session and we walked around the shops at Scottsdale Quarter without skipping a beat. I feel so lucky to have such a knowledgeable dependable trainer to help my dog be the best he can be! I recommend Cave Creek K9 1 million times over!
