Cave Creek K9 Training

Rod and his family did a great job with my reactive 2 almost 3 year old dog. when we came to him my dog maverick was uncontrollable when seeing another dog on our walks. now she hardly reacts to them! she has been a lot better in the leash as well as great at going to her kennel when i leave or at night. Rod continues to check in on us and we have had a chance to walk the mall with Maverick as he showed me what she learned! it was almost like i was getting a new dog when i finally got her back after the board and train! I would highly recommend Cave Creek K9 Training to everyone I know!

I don’t have enough good things to say about Rodd and Cave Creek K9 training! I brought Rodd my 1 year old golden retriever who was pretty rowdy and not always the best listener but a sweet girl! By the first week he already had her doing things I never thought she could do. At the end of her three weeks I was amazed! Her recall is a night and day difference, she’s engaged, listens, and has become the dog I always hoped for. I can’t thank Rodd enough for the time he spent with my fur baby and would recommend him to everyone!

We couldn't be happier with the experience we had with Rodd! Our Doberman spent three weeks with him, and the improvement in her confidence, obedience, and social skills has been incredible. He introduced her to new people, other dogs, and unfamiliar environments by taking her out in public and working through real-world situations. Her obedience is much improved, with reliable commands both on and off leash. We also greatly appreciate Rodd’s continued support. He's always available to answer questions and offer advice, and it's clear he genuinely cares about the long-term success of both the dogs and their owners. We plan to continue boarding our Doberman with Rodd so she can keep building on the skills she's learned. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated trainer who truly transforms dogs while giving owners the tools and confidence to succeed.

We truly cannot recommend Rod highly enough! He has been amazing with our Great Dane puppy, Boone. Finding someone we could completely trust with such an important stage of Boone’s development meant everything to us, and Rod exceeded every expectation. What stands out most is how much Rod genuinely cares. He treated Boone like family, celebrated his successes, and invested in helping him become a confident, well-mannered dog. The progress Boone made was incredible, but even more importantly, he gave us the skills so we could continue training Boone effectively at home. Unlike large training centers, during Rod’s board and train, Boone got individualized training with him and his pack, only further enhancing Boone’s ability to maintain his skills out and about. Rod was patient, knowledgeable, communicative, and always willing to answer our questions. Every interaction reinforced that Boone was in great hands. We are so grateful for the impact he has had on our puppy and on us as dog owners. If you’re looking for a trainer who is skilled, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about dogs, Rod is the best. Boone absolutely loves him, and so do we! We will definitely be continuing Boone’s training with Rod as he gets older.

I can’t recommend Cave Creek K9 Training enough! My American Staffordshire Terrier, Daisy, completed their 3-week Board & Train program, and the difference in her confidence and behavior has been incredible.
