We have had the most wonderful experience with Brian and Emily! We brought our puppy in for the one hour puppy training and then again for the 3 week course at 6 months of age. The puppy class gave us really great pointers for training. Even though we have always had dogs, it had been a while since we had a puppy. I recommend even for seasoned dog owners! The three week class was a game changer. I thought my 6 year old dog was great and now my puppy walks better than her! I am such a proud dog mom after this course. I can't say enough amazing things about our experience. I highly recommend 👌

We have a 1 year old pocket beagle, … and yes, we learned that he could be quite stubborn and challenging with training. Frustrated and stressed about finding the right trainer for our dog, a friend told us about their 5-Star experience with Bryan and Emily at Cascadia Canine Academy. We couldn’t wait to enroll our dog Ranger. He went to day school, Mon-Fri for three weeks. Ranger learned proper socialization with other dogs, and received one on one training with Bryan. Ranger learned basic commands in various settings which included multiple distractions. Fast forward three weeks!! We went to the graduation today and we could not believe how our dog Ranger has been transformed. We won’t be going anywhere else for training. We now have the fundamental tools to practice commands at home and build on the excellent training our dog has received. We highly recommend Cascadia Canine Academy. Bryan is helping my 83 yo friend with training her 7 month old Havanese. His encyclopedic knowledge/experience, his depth of breed knowledge, and his love of dogs is apparent and so useful to those who forget how much work a puppy can be. I would like to give you a heartfelt thank you for all of your incredible instructions to both Anne and I regarding our Papillon Chakotay. After only one and a half hours of instruction and the prong collar, Chakotay has transformed into a different dog. As Emily may have told you, we were ready to return to Chakotay to the breeder because he would literally bark at everything (other people, dogs, garbage pails, people on bicycles and cars). Chakotay was afraid of me and would not come to me, play with me, or take treats from me. After that one session with you, Chakotay no longer barks at other people, dogs or cars and seems to be totally relaxed and comfortable on walks. He is now comfortable with me and is willing to play ball with me. I would never have believed this transformation if it did not happen to our dog and I was a first person witness to this change. I think the prong collar has made Chakotay more relaxed so he knows we are in charge and he doesn’t need to bark to protect us. I am amazed at how quickly Chakotay has learned. When we come to an intersection and I say wait he immediately waits until released, even at times when I walk into an intersection without stopping and waiting he will stop and wait. Maybe he is trying to teach me something. Bryan we are so grateful to you. We love Chakotay and were beside ourselves dealing with the barking.
