From the day we first opened our doors in 2006, it has been our guiding mission to transform each dog into one that is balanced & well-mannered. We help frustrated dog owners learn better ways to ensure a lifetime of enjoyment & harmony with their dog. At Carolina Dog Training our calling is to transform the dynamic relationship between people & their dogs from challenging to fulfilling, thus creating a healthy, harmonious & respectful relationship between human & dog. As a master trainer, Elaine’s focus is on teaching both dogs & people. Before you can influence your dog’s behavior, you must change the way your dog sees you.

Our residency programs are a favorite solution for dog owners who either don't have the time to devote to the daily dog training process and who would rather have Carolina Dog Training, LLC do the "heavy lifting" regarding establishing a training foundation that subsequently only has to be maintained after your dog has already been Trained by Elaine™. Additionally, this unique program is ideal for dogs lacking healthy social skills with other dogs. Since your dog will be integrated into our balanced pack, he or she will learn the joy and peace of being a cooperative member of the group.

For owners who have the time and desire to commit to taking an active role in the dog training process, consider in home dog training. Carolina Dog Training, LLC will train you and your dog in the familiar environment of your own home and neighborhood, including local hot spots! Pet stores, greenways, and dog walking sites are a few good examples where we will work together to achieve a customized list of your goals.

Carolina Dog Training, LLC can assist you in the process of becoming a Pet Partner Therapy Animal Team as well as provide the necessary training for your dog to attain the basic obedience skills required to pass the Team Evaluation! The latest research shows that the Human-Animal Bond through Animal Assisted Therapy comes with a whole host of benefits: • A therapy dog has a positive effect on patients’ pain level and satisfaction with their hospital stay. • The presence of an animal can significantly increase positive social behaviors among adults and children alike. • Pet Partner Teams Volunteer in schools, libraries, hospitals, nursing homes, and many other venues.

Elaine is amazing! I found her because I have a love of a dog who was starting to become unpredictable with people and other dogs. She taught me to be calm and confidant and was extremely kind and patient with me and my dog Jack. She did such a great job with Jack we then had her work with our other dog Pibbi and could not be more pleased with the results! Then we needed WOOF camp so our family could take a trip , what a joy to not have any worries knowing our fur kids were being so well taken care of and learning new things to boot. AWESOME experience
My four month old puppy, Finley, and I finished the Private 5-Session training sessions yesterday and it was excellent! Elaine was wonderful in training both of us in so many new commands! My four month old puppy, Finley, and I finished the Private 5-Session training sessions yesterday and it was excellent! Elaine was wonderful in training both of us in so many new commands! He learned quickly with easy, firm instructions and commands. She is worth every penny! I have a well-mannered puppy and we are both happier and more content in our home and out on our adventures. He is able to go off lease and come on command. Incredible at his age!!! I'll keep working with him and praising him since he is such a smart puppy. I couldn't have done it without Elaine and Carolina Dog Training!! Thank you!!!

What a gift to watch Elaine, "A Pack Leader", with her calm and assertive energy, transform so many dogs and set them up for success to becoming stable and balanced companions. Two years ago she trained Jackie and Laddie and now I can take Jackie and Laddie anywhere, I put them on a place command and smile with joy and pride when so many people compliment their behavior. I love having them with me at Lowes, lunch, dinner and of course at Starbucks! Elaine most importantly taught me that the dogs look to me for leadership and information. Thanks Elaine for giving me the dogs I always wanted.
