We have had 3 dogs, (all Shar-Peis), 'TRAINED BY ELAINE' and have been nothing but over the moon pleased with the training. We tell everyone about the training and that the money spent, has been the best investments we ever made. Shar-Peis are very stubborn, independent dogs that want to lead the pack. After their training with Elaine they listened to us and understood we are the pack leaders. We believe Elaine's approach to training is one of the best out there and highly recommend her. We love it when people are amazed that as soon as we stop walking our dog sits immediately. We love watching them on their leash free walks, watching them explore on their own knowing we have control of them with the training collar, is so rewarding. Best thing we did for our dogs and ourselves was invest money training them with Elaine. Thank you Elaine for all you have done to help us with our fur babies, your the BEST and we are forever grateful!!

We are so happy with the training and guidance that Elaine provided. It was worth every penny! As Yogi, our Boxer puppy is growing, he is living up to everything we have read and talked with others about the breed. A loveable, wonderful family dog but very energetic with a healthy streak of mischief. Elaine was able to guide Yogi (and train us) to have a much healthier, calmer, and happy existence. After only a few sessions, the gates to keep Yogi from tearing through the house were gone, the counter surfing is no longer a constant challenge, and Yogi loves being able to follow us wherever we go around the house, and we love that he now does it without looking for mischief around every corner. Elaine exceeded our expectations training our 11 month old Havanese pup, Jasper. He is much more confident, obedient and overall a happier puppy. Our neighbors and friends have all commented on the change in his demeanor and how well he interacts with other dogs and people. Jasper is now a well-behaved pup while still maintaining his funny, goofy, playful personality. We highly recommend Elaine of Carolina Dog Training for anyone considering training for their pup. Elaine transformed the dynamic between me and my puppy! Lola was a “pandemic puppy” Golden Retriever and came home on March 21, 2020. Because of COVID-19 there were limited opportunities for socializing her for several months, which was being reflected in her behavior. I had a Zoom training with the first trainer, and while I was provided with beneficial information, Lola was not responsive to the training methods. She later completed a “puppy kindergarten” when it opened as well as some private sessions with a trainer, both of which provided benefits of socialization and basic commands. The dynamic between the two of us was still a concern and the training efforts were taking a long time and were not sticking with her. Lola was continuing to bite me, counter surf, pull on the leash, and chew everything she wasn’t supposed to be chewing. I heard about Elaine from someone who had taken their adult dog to her and raved about the benefits of Elaine’s training methods. I decided that I would invest the time and resources for Lola to go to residency training with Elaine, and it has honestly proven to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Lola is now extremely well behaved and a happier pup since completing her training and she is only 10 months old! While I have loved her since her “gotcha day”, we now actually enjoy each other. She is still a quirky, dingus puppy but I no longer have to worry about her getting into something or doing something that may be harmful to her or how she behaves around other people.
