EDIT: Dakota this is Kim responding. As Janet confirmed you attended the first class and at the second class you were instructed that having a female in season can be very dangerous and disruptive to the 2 very large intact males that were attending that class. When we spoke I offered you an opportunity to attend the next class session or complete your lessons with Janet privately. At that time I asked that you contact Janet directly to set up these classes. I knew you were only in town for a short while longer and wanted to be sure you got the instruction you needed before you left. NEVER did I ever offer a refund, as we do not offer refunds for uncompleted classes. I spoke to Janet that very day and told her of your situation and said that you would be following up with her. It's unfortunate that you never took the time to reach out. Janet sent you several emails. At some point you needed to take the initiative but you didn't. You never texted me. I checked back until August 30 and no communication. Apparently, the number you have associated with my name is incorrect. It's unfortunate that you chose this route rather than direct communication. Both janet and I would have welcomed the opportunity to finish up the training for your dog even after this amount of time had passed. We have over 60 reviews and this is the first discontented client, all because of a lack of sound communication. There is only so much we can do on our end. At some point you need to take responsibility for your dogs training. EDIT: Dakota, did you even verify the phone number in the screenshot, above? Kim has no record of you texting her, nor would she ever reply "Who you" as, like you stated, it's unprofessional, grammatically incorrect, and not in Kim's lexicon. Honestly, you could have texted anyone to get that screenshot as "proof" of your allegations. I also have a screenshot of the waiver you signed, which clearly states, "... I understand that fees are non-transferable to any other event, and that fees paid to Carolina Canine College are nonrefundable. Furthermore, ...the cost for missed class(es) will not be refunded." Unlike your screenshot, mine is valid as it contains a picture of your signature and unique cell phone information. Again, you didn't call the business number on the website, you didn't email the business, or try any other method to contact either myself or Kim. I would love to see the phone number associated with the contact in your screenshot, but you can easily fake that to suit your needs. Hi, Dakota. Thank you for writing a review. Most of what you say is accurate; any dog business will ask you to leave with a female in heat if there are other dogs on site, as there are in an obedience class. Kim called me that day and let me know. She told me you would either join the next session for class or use the money you spent on class for other services offered at our facility, which include group classes in rally, obedience, agility, conformation handling, scent works, and private instruction, or dog daycare, or boarding, or dog related supplies from the store. You did none of those things and instead contacted your bank, not Kim, when you wanted a refund. Our waiver, that you signed, clearly states"no refunds, no exceptions"; how is that misleading? You never called the business number, you never reached out to me, the other instructor, and as far as I know, you never contacted Kim. You can see that your review is the minority, so I wonder where the truth lies?
