CANIS - Dog Behavior & Training

The absolute best choice I made was to allow CANIS to train and board Daisy. From the very beginning, the evaluation with Bobby and Jaime ……all the way through the weeks and days of training and working with Jaime both in a class setting and private classes, it paid off immeasurably. Many people told me that she was just too strong for me and too big for me to handle even my husband thought it was best to find a new home for her. When we picked her up after four weeks, my husband said “she’s a different dog” … she’s amazing……..thanks to all of the love and dedication Jaime and the whole entire crew at Canis, I truly have my best friend.

I’ve been bringing my dog, Peppa, to Canis for almost a year now, and it is absolutely my favorite place to take her for day club. I love that their program goes beyond traditional daycare and provides a structured day that includes playtime, agility training, and rest. Peppa always comes home looking like she’s had the best time at "school". I truly appreciate the clear and consistent communication from the team—they always make me feel informed and like part of the Canis family. I know many of the staff by name and have developed great rapport with each of them, which says so much about the care and community they create. We also participated in the board-and-train program, and our trainer, Jamie, is absolutely the best. She did an incredible job honing Peppa’s obedience skills and, just as importantly, taught us how to maintain her training at home. Even months later, Jamie still checks in to see how Peppa is doing and makes sure we feel confident as handlers. She is always a resource and consistently goes above and beyond. I couldn’t recommend Canis enough.
