Hello Miss Paterson, All moneys owed were paid in full. You talk of dogs that are no longer with us because you came and retrieved them, unannounced. Then you make false accusations on Google even though the contract was adhered to completely. Let us address the first problem. You told me and my associate, at the time, the dogs were a certain age. Upon getting the dogs we learned later that they were extremely older than we had been told. These dogs had been allowed to pack up for their entire lives and had a hard time functioning with out being around each other. I kept you informed on their progress up until you stopped calling and asking. Then out of the blue you want to know what is going on with the dogs and why they have not been sold. I was under no obligation to inform you of anything to do with their training or with how much I was going to sell them for. This was a consignment deal only. Your dogs lacked the ability to do our type of work. They have very little prey drive, if any, and were nervy with little confidence. The decision was made that they would make great pet dogs and we started moving in that direction. Many training techniques were used to try and build up their confidence. NEPOPO, Shaping, Clicker training, and behavior modification were all used but to no eval. We even gave them time to grow up and mature to see if things would change. Maybe they were late bloomers. Had we gotten the puppies at 8 to 11 weeks old, we might have been able to develop a more complete dog. However, the dogs were given to us at almost 5 months old. At the time you finally contacted us regarding the puppies, I explained to you that we would be moving them on with families for a very minimal price. I would not even make any money off the dogs but was fine with that as long as they were in great homes. When you asked for videos of the dogs, we had just started doing compulsion work and making the dogs do behaviors to get them ready for family life. We were very easy on the dogs as they could not handle pressure well. You did not like what you thought you saw in a video. The video is a, less than, 2 minute snap shot of what was going on. These puppies were never mistreated, were well taken care of and got tons of attention. All taking away from other dogs that could do the work required. At this time you decided to show up at the facility, on a day we are closed, unannounced. You were rude to my employee and started making demands that you had no right to make of him or to him. After being called I came to the facility to talk with you. I was never rude, pushy, or condescending. I was honest, fair, and upfront with everything. The puppies had been with me almost a year at that point. We settled this matter in January and all parties were fine with our decision. Now it is May and you want to bash my business. You know that we keep our facility clean and neat. It is a pet peeve of mine that this facility be as clean as possible. We have many tour our facility to check the conditions of where their dogs will be staying. They talk about how nice it is and how great everything looks. We have brand new spacious kennels built, 11 new outdoor runs and tons of green space for the dogs. We do not have air fresheners all over the place. We use the Pet candle and we do that because we sell them. You came here and saw our facility and thought that we were doing a great job. It was not until you did not get what you thought you should get that this is now an issue. You have always been welcome at our facility and you always will be. We have no ill will towards your and wish nothing bad upon you. But this is a typical problem today. Let's wait 6 to 7 months and then complain after everything has been settled. Our contact is still in place and will be closed out when the dog is gone from the facility. Thank You

Laura, I was completely up front with you and Shawn about what was included in your purchase. I never once said that in the 6 lessons I would include or they could be changed to a home invasion lesson. I did say that we were capable of doing that kind of agitation and if we did come out to your house it would be an additional charge. As for your claim that we only fulfilled half of the agreement. My staff and I were at the facility twice waiting on you to arrive when we received a call from your husband the first time and a call from you the second time that you would not be able to attend. These calls were only about an hour before your scheduled time and I was willing to not count either one against you. My agitator, another employee and myself were waiting for you the 3rd missed lesson that was a no call, no show. In this type of business, you book time and that becomes your scheduled time for you and your dog. When you don't show and we have to reschedule, you are costing my business money. I can not reschedule on short notice for the missed lesson nor on a "no call, no show'" and I can not schedule anyone else in that time slot later because I have to reserve it for your rescheduled appointments. I find it very offensive that you are trying to use your disability to gain sympathy. I was very accommodating to you during your training sessions. I had an extra employee on hand at all times in case you were not able to do what we were trying to accomplish at that particular training session. I tried to make you feel at ease and comfortable in the training we were doing. I always checked with you before continuing, making completely sure you knew exactly what we were doing and why we were doing it. I never once cursed at you or to you unless we were in an agitation session. We would do this only to portray a live attacker scenario coming at you. But I do understand that people sometimes have to say things to sway people to their side or to try and get their way. Let us now talk about Kent. We did a test on your dog once you bought him from a protection dog sales place in California. At the test we learned that you had not been sold what you thought you bought. The dog was not off leash trained as you had been told, he was sleeve oriented and was unsure during protection work. With your condition, it was hard for you to hold the dog on leash once you needed protection, hence the off leash training. Kent was fixated on the toy not the person during protection. While doing protection work Kent would look to you for his protection. When you came for your first lesson, we did the obedience work for you. Once again, trying to make this as easy for you as we could. During this same lesson we learned that Kent would release his grip if a stick was raised above his head or if you touched his feet. Protection dogs are not supposed to stop their job for things like that. Second lesson, we did bite suit work with a KNPV agitator that I hired. When we challenged the dog he instantly let go and proceed to go behind you for you to protect him. We then set up a game plan to fix these problems. You wanted to jump way ahead and have us come to your house before we were done with his training. This would have destroyed your dog. I will only do what is right by you and the dog. Thank you for trying to skew what actually happened. Lastly, we do use e-collars for off leash training and you were fine with that before we ever started your lessons. For Kent, since he was not super tough, we used a low powered e-collar. We only had to go up to the specified level out of 100, one time, for him trying to run away. Before and after that we never went above 20 on the collar. You never once voiced any concern or objection until I refused to come out to your house for the home invasion scenario. Good luck to you and Shawn, I hope you never truly need Kent to protect you. At this point I am not sure he truly can. Good luck.
