Canine Training Unlimited

My husband and I love Canine Training Unlimited and the benefits as a result of their training + our practice/reinforced training at home. We adopted our dog, Jasmine, from the shelter and she came with what felt like a whole boatload of baggage. She had an issue with men, people entering the house, MAJOR stranger danger, didn't like shots + getting blood drawn (going to the vet), and LORD FORBID if we were in a group of people and one person wasn't "doing what the rest of the pack was". We did the beginner, sub-novice, and are currently on our third round of novice class. Your trainers (we've had Lisa-Marie and Caitlin) give you the tools to practice with your dog in class and at home. Since starting and continuing classes, we have seen a major improvement with Jasmine's behavior. Lisa-Marie and Caitlin even made special efforts with asking other people in class to approach Jasmine (with treats) to help her with her stranger danger. The class material may be "generic" but everyone receives the tips and weird tricks that they need to help their dog succeed. We have consistently gone to class and practiced at home (both of these are key). Without the education and tools provided to us by C.T.U for us to apply at home, I doubt we would have seen such positive improvement in Jasmine's behavior in the less than a year that we have had her. We will continue our classes with Jasmine, have enrolled one of our other dogs in their classes, and would most definitely recommend C.T.U. to everyone and anyone!
