Canine State of Mind

I cannot say enough good things about Sasha and Canine State of Mind. Sasha helped me train/communicate with my puppy and helped me set the ground rules with him. Sasha has always been available for questions following my initial training sessions with her. She has an incredible boarding facility on her 50 acre farm and cares for my pup there as if he were her own. I know he is loved and well taken care of when I am out of the country. I highly recommend Canine State of Mind!

I am very thankful to have found Canine State of Mind though a personal referral. I have been sending my older Chesapeake Bay Retriever to spend time at the farm for the last few years and could not be happier with our experience. It makes it much easier to go on vacation knowing that our dog is in excellent hands. In addition to creating a safe and welcoming space for boarding, Sasha has such a gift with dogs and dog training. Living in the city and encountering many leashed dogs on a regular basis sometimes had our dog on edge, but after just one trip to CSOM our dog's temperament on and off leash with other dogs improved significantly. I am truly grateful to have a such a wonderful place for our dog to spend time while we are away.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Sasha and Michael! We have been with Canine State of Minds just shy of a year for our golden retriever puppy, Malby. We were referred to Canine through a neighbor in downtown Chicago and called immediately after hearing the amazing things Sasha and Michael offered: lifelong training, boarding, weekly to monthly check-ins on the training progress and more. After a few training sessions with Sasha (in our home!) we saw instant improvements with Malby and of course her human owners! :) Sasha provides the owners the tools to get the best out of your dog. It is so great that Sasha comes to the home to witness and react to "real life" with the owners and the dog. With the amazing training, our expectations were set high with the boarding - it did not disappoint. Michael arrived promptly to pick up and drop off Malby. By the second boarding go around, Malby immediately jumped into the van and could not wait to get going. While on the farm, we received picture/text updates - our dog could not have looked more happy running among other dogs on acres of land. The best part is knowing that our dog was not only getting boarding but onsite training tune ups. When Malby returned home she was happy, healthy and very obedient. It has been wonderful having Canine Sate of Mind as an extension of our home. Thanks! James & Hayne
