We rescued Vienna, a darling adolescent puppy with lots of trauma, and worked with her on our own, making some progress and helping her build confidence, but we remained at an impasse when it came to her extreme separation anxiety and isolation distress–we just couldn’t make a difference, no matter what we did! We tried everything we could think to do on our own and it wasn’t working. That’s when we called Canine Solutions. Since that call, our sweet dog has made so much progress thanks to the help of Karen. Karen is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped us to understand and work with Vienna more effectively. She developed an excellent training plan to help Vienna be more independent and more comfortable with our absences. We have appreciated getting tips and tricks from an expert, and the customized training plan is invaluable to Vienna’s progress, which we can see every day. We are so grateful to be working with Karen, and glad to have a more comfortable and confident dog.
I highly recommend you and your dog work with Karen. Our dog went from being terrorized of guests (and terrorizing them) to being calm and collected. A complete 180. Karen has really helped us learn how to read our dog. Many new skills gained!
