Canine Solutions

We picked up our 6month old Golden Retriever from Dawn after she worked with her for 2 weeks. Our girl Ruby is probably a 6 out of 10 on the stubbornness scale. She came to Dawn with a few bad habits (mouthing, jumping on house guests, and not understanding at all what the word stay meant). We have 3 small kids at home and needed help training her best for our family. Dawn provided expertise, kindness and leadership to Ruby. She sent videos and pictures along the way so our kids could see her while she was away. We feel that driving down to Dawn/ Canine Solutions (from Chicago) exceeded our expectations. We’re excited to continue Ruby's training at home with everything Dawn taught us on our Exit Training (which lasted an hour). She Helped us with questions and gave us her personal cell to call with anything we needed. Everyone was accommodating and settled our nerves about leaving her for 2 weeks. I would recommend Canine Solutions to anyone reading this! Good luck on your training search but this is a good one.

Our golden doodle, Reba (6 months), completed the 2 week board and train at Canine Solutions December 2022. She was a brand new pup when we picked her up. No more jumping on the counter or people. She lays nicely on her bed, or spot, and no longer chews on our kids’ toys. Reba obeys the commands she was taught. Dawn’s way training was perfect for our family of 6. We have four young children and they can all follow the training commands and routine that Dawn achieved with Reba. Highly recommend this board and train program!!

I took my puppy to canine solutions with no real expectations since this is my first experience. Gus is a super lovable puppy that was just unruly. We had no idea how to train Gus and were very frustrated. We found canine solutions and felt the price was very good so Gus went for his two week training. I was concerned about him being gone for 2 weeks however with the pictures and videos that were sent it was a lot easier than I thought. We were asked about specific behaviors we were concerned with and needing to be corrected. Today we picked Gus up and after a reunion we saw what he learned. My dog is my baby and the first thing I noticed was how well taken care of he was. This means a lot to me. Gus was put through his paces and both my husband and I were amazed. We had an hour training session for my husband and myself to learn how to keep up the training he had learned. I was a little concerned about being able to follow through with the behaviors he had learned. We were taught and able to demonstrate how to help Gus and ourselves succeed to continue his progress. Lots of tips and people training occurred in that hour session. We were also given written instructions to help continuing to help our precious dog to succeed. I would recommend canine solutions to anyone.
