Canine Purpose

Zeus, our 2.5 yr old Cane Corso has been in group training and day plays at Canine Purpose since he was a puppy. Weston and his staff are wonderful with all the dogs in the group classes, but also ask everyone what I want to work on with with their dog. The result is a dog that has an excellent personality, walks off leash and on leash, comes when called and stays when asked. He goes everywhere with me. I am always complimented on his behavior and how calm he is. People are amazed when he sits alone outside the door at Peets coffee while i am inside getting his water and my tea. He sits alone in the aisle at Lowes or Home depot when I am looking for items. All of this is because of the training of me and Zeus at Canine Purpose. I highly recommend them.

We LOVE Canine Purpose!! I have an extremely reactive 3 year old pit-bull mix who I basically swore off walking on a leash forever. His leash reactivity had reached an uncontrollable level for me and other training facilities had actually turned him away at the door. It basically ruined the idea for me that any trainer would ever give him a chance. Until I was recommended Canine Purpose!! From the first orientation and interaction with them, I was instantly at ease. Bodhi is enrolled in Reactive Group Class and when I tell you Weston is the best of the BEST!! Our first class I was full of anxiety, I couldn't even get Bodhi over to the class, and all I wanted to do was get in the car and run! Weston made us feel SO normal! He actually halted the class and walked with Bodhi and I back and forth through the group class of dogs, until Bodhi was adjusted to the class and his surroundings! It was the biggest weight lifted off my shoulders!! And by the end of just the first hour long class, Bodhi was walking with other dogs on leash around the park! My jaw was on the floor. From that day forward I was SOLD on Weston, and Canine Purpose. They actually provided an aid for Bodhi throughout his first and second class (who are extremely nice women and very helpful) which made me feel more comfortable. Every Thursday Weston would again, walk Bodhi through the class with me until he was desensitized and ready to start class as a group. I have never felt so accepted and normalized with Bodhi's behavior. By the third and fourth class Bodhi was a DIFFERENT dog!!! No need for aids, or long intros to the class. He was happy to be there. I am now taking him to the river and the park after just four classes. Not only are these classes affordable, they've single-handedly repaired my relationship with my dog. I learn SO much after every class session, and Weston is so thorough, hands on, and educated. Bodhi is a completely different dog because of these classes and I can't thank WESTON and Canine Purpose enough!! We can't wait to be back after Bodhi's surgery.
