Canine Perspective: Structured Daycare, Boarding & Training

Do not use Canine Perspective, Inc. They left a muzzle on my dog without proper supervision for 5 straight days - even at night (while he is alone in his crate), which caused bleeding/blister skin irritation that no one noticed until I removed the muzzle when I picked him up. When I asked for any kind of muzzle breaks, they said no but that NOW staff will monitor his muzzle for skin irritation and rewrap it if needed - which as trained dog handlers they should've done in the first place. After being a client for nearly 1 year, this muzzle incident happened under their watch, and instead of trying to figure something out I was informed that they all of a sudden decided that my dog is “no longer a good fit” at their establishment. The owner Jesse is condescending and hides behind emails that he has the secretary send instead of dealing with any issues himself. If/when a problem occurs seems they would rather cut you as a client over working out a resolution plan. (If anyone from Canine Perspective objects to any of the above I am happy to post the emails they sent me that states all of this) The photos are 5 days after the incident, I immediately applied triple antibiotic ointment so that his snout does not become infected. The muzzle photo shows the dry blood from his skin.

My friends referred me to Canine Perspective and it has been incredible for my one year old lab, Chip. He loves going for daycare and boarding and is excited every time we arrive at the facility. The staff is always friendly when greeting us. Enrique has done an amazing job with daycare/training for Chip with basic commands and helping correct a couple behavioral issues. I can’t say enough good things about CP, it has helped improve my relationship with Chip and it’s the training is helpful in every day life with him.

My dog, Reggie, just completed a 15 day package of Day & Train at Canine Perspective. Our main goal was off leash reliability and I knew an E-Collar was our best bet, but definitely wanted professional help introducing it. Canine Perspective, and specifically Enrique, did an amazing job! I loved that Reggie could get the dedicated training time of a board and train, but that I still got to see him every night! Canine Perspective was super flexible with scheduling our Day Train days. This package also comes with personal training for me - which is SO important! Enrique did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable using the E-Collar with Reggie. This training program improved my relationship with Reggie, and we can now confidently go off leash - which has absolutely improved Reggie's quality of life! I can't recommend Enrique at Canine Perspective enough - it has been a total game changer!
