None of the times you had listed will work for us this go-around. We need a Monday, Tues, or Sat class... if possible
Saint needs 2 things (1)socialization with other dogs (excessive excitement and BARKING)He as almost melted down in vet waiting room. Puppy K with other dogs would be helpful.
(2) General obedience is good, apart from pulling at walks. My hubby and I disagree. I feel he needs something like gentle leader.... as a harness is not enough

Congratulations to Dory Hoffman, winner of Best of the Beach, 2016 for Professional Dog Trainer! Dory is amazing, and can take the most obstinate, hard headed dog and owner to becoming a gentle, loving pet and proud pet parent. My Golden Doodle pup is becoming a well trained 9 month old, thanks to Dory's time and patience with both of us. 7 years ago my Lhasa Aphsa was the smallest pup in a group of BIG dogs. She became well mannered, is a charmer, and still heels off leash. Dory is the BEST professional trainer in Hampton Roads, and her title is well deserved!

Dory was recommended to me by a breeder/friend of mine after I failed to get results I needed with a year of training with someone else and months of work on my own. I have a wonderful, but strong willed 18 month old golden retriever puppy who pulled like the devil on leash no matter what I tried. Unwilling to use a pinch collar, as suggested by many trainers I contacted, Dory was a breath of fresh air, saying that it wasn't necessary, she and I could learn with gentler methods. Less than 5 private lessons later my husband and I have a completely different dog! We can walk her with 2 fingers on the leash using only her usual harness. Additionally, Dory corrected many other issues I had with basic obedience. Over all my dog respects me more and is an even better companion than ever! If only Dory was in Newport News. . .🙂

Dory is passionate about dog training education in a way that is easy to follow, compelling, relevant and fun.
