Canine Obedience Training at Hunt Club

We first trained with Dory twelve years ago and didn't consider going anywhere else when two new puppies joined our family over the past year. Dory is experienced, compassionate, funny and firm. She cares deeply about her clients and is committed to training the trainer as much or more so than the dogs. She offers a multitude of classes at a number of levels, as well as individualized and in-home training. There's not much Dory hasn't seen or can't deal with, and we'll never go to anyone else. Highly recommended.

I have trained my last 2 dogs with Dory and she is the absolute best. She offers a variety of classes for all levels of training starting with puppy classes. I recommend her to everyone I know. She also offers classes for AKC sports and for those interested in showing or becoming therapy dogs. I have been attending classes for the past 3 years with her and now compete in Rally. She prepares us for the completion and even attends the event with us for support. She is flexible with scheduling and tries to accommodate everyone’s busy schedules. She also offers private lessons or in-home visits. She is everything you would want in a trainer. Her experience and knowledge are evident and I wish everyone would train their dogs with her.

I highly recommend Dory! My son in law referred me to Dory after she trained his Australian Sheppard. My mini poodle was in several of Dory’s Classes which were excellent. I recently adopted an 8 year old poodle. She wasn’t socialized and is afraid of everything so she is getting private lessons from Dory and is doing well.
