FirstBarkDory is an awesome trainer! my puppy has just finished the kindergarten class, and I'm thrilled with his progress. he's a challenging one to train, but with Dory's guidance, I know he will get there. She's very knowledgeable not only about training, but will give you advice on food, toys, leashes, you name it, she knows it! Can't wait for Beginner class to start.

Yes Thank you!! None of the times you had listed will work for us this go-around. We need a Monday, Tues, or Sat class... if possible Saint needs 2 things (1)socialization with other dogs (excessive excitement and BARKING)He as almost melted down in vet waiting room. Puppy K with other dogs would be helpful. (2) General obedience is good, apart from pulling at walks. My hubby and I disagree. I feel he needs something like gentle leader.... as a harness is not enough Please keep me on you mailing list for upcoming classes.

Just had our first in home private session for our rescued pup. Can't say enough great things about our experience. Dory is a wealth of knowledge.We can wait to implement all her training guidance.

We have two miniature dachshunds. Frankie was severely attacked and now displays with aggressive behaviors and Grace has extreme anxiety and barks too frequently. Over the last few weeks we have “interviewed” many pet trainers and even had some come to our home. We have not been able to find a trainer that understands the significance of Frankies behavior until we met Dory. Dory came to our house for the first session. Not only was she so patient and understanding of our dogs, we also saw progress within the first session!!! By the time Dory left the house, Frankie was able to walk her to the door without growling and Grace said good bye and have some kisses. We are so looking forward to this continued process and additional sessions with Dory!!

Most important, my mother is 82 years old and Dory was able to show her the steps and guide her so at the end of the session my mom was confident and ready to keep working her pup. Dory Hofmann has been training me and my dogs for almost 30 years! I know I can trust her to do the right thing for my dogs from puppy classes to various levels of obedience. She’s also always available to help with any behavioral issues throughout a dog’s life. I highly recommend Dory for owners looking to improve their dogs behavior through proper training and socialization. My first Lakeland terrier, Casey, graduated from Basic class in 1992. Maggie, my current Aussie, finished Basic in December, 2019, and will be starting sub novice soon. Thank you, Dory, for all you do for the dogs and for the owners.
