Canine Linguistics - Dog Training and Boarding

Rose and her team are the real deal. We put our 1-yr old Golden Doodle pup in for a 5-week boarding/training course and couldn't be happier. First of all, they are excellent trainers; they know what they're doing. Our boy came back with vastly improved walking manners, threshold manners, and ability to stay in "place" for extended periods including when guests come over (something we had issues with because he would always get excited and jump on guests as soon as they came in the door). Additionally - Rose was excellent about communicating with us quickly and directly both for basic progress updates, as well as whenever any issues arose (he had some allergy issues for instance). They have their ducks in a row and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone! We really appreciate all the care and effort put in with our pup!

We had the pleasure of working with Rose and the team on our goldendoodle Coltrane. He stayed with them for 6 weeks and had incredible results! Coltrane now follows me on his leash and stays in his place at home, making the ability to great guests so much less chaotic. Thank you for everything! Coltrane can have such a more enriched life now that I can take him literally everywhere with no issues!!

Rose and Angel are AMAZING!!! They trained our bully XL Lindo to be my Service Animal. When I brought him the first day he was skiddish, a puller on the leash and did not listen. He was only about 8 months at the time and had no training, so thats understandable. The 2 and a half months he was gone were so hard, but Rose and Angel sent me pictures and updates of him which were greatly appreciated. He came home to spend Christmas with us and I already began to notice a positive change in him. I met up with them about a week later for a training session with Rose, Angel and Lindo at a coffee shop. She taught me some commands to use with him. To say I was blown away by how well he was doing is an understatement. I fly often and agreed with Rose to allow her to take him on his first flight to make sure he was ready. He did absolutely amazing and he got to play in the snow (and taste it 😆). I’m sure he enjoyed his first of many trips to NYC. The going home training session was very informative. Rose broke everything down for me and explained it thoroughly. I make sure to bring Lindo to places with me either with or without his vest (depending on the location) as often as possible. As soon as I put on his vest he knows it’s time for work. I do my best to make sure I am not over working him. I listen and pay close attention to his needs as well, which is something that Rose showed me. My little guy (well BIG GUY) makes an impression everywhere we go and I’m so very proud of him!! Thank you Rose and Angel for your patience, kind hearts and most importantly taking great care of Lindo while he was with you both. I know he was shown lots of love and attention. You both ROCKKK!!!!

I brought my pup to Canine Linguistics for the puppy board and train. I first met with Rose and Angel before we dropped our pup off and felt so comfortable knowing we’re leaving him with such caring and knowledgeable people. After we dropped him off we got many updates from them as well as keeping up through their social media which was great. When we got our puppy back, Rose personally dropped him off at home and did a home training which showed us how to properly keep up with training in our house. Rose also encourages everyone to reach out to her for help or more assistance with training even after the boarding is done. I could not recommend them enough!
