Highly recommend Canine Linguistics to anyone looking for training or boarding!! They treat everyone’s pets as if they are their own. Their passion for what they do really does show in everything they do. We did a meet and greet at their house and we were super impressed with their set up and how spotless everything was. Will definitely be going back for their boarding so my pet can continue his training!

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with a dog training program that I feel compelled to share. We entrusted our beloved dog to a four-week training program, for which we paid a significant amount of money ($3,300). Unfortunately, our dog returned home, in our opinion with signs of sedation, and within a day, it was evident that something was seriously wrong. Not only did our dog exhibit no improvement in his behavioral issues, such as excessive barking and aggression towards other dogs, but these problems seemed to have worsened. Our dog never had an accident in his crate and the next day he came back home he peed inside the crate. In my opinion, I believe he spent a lot of time in a crate and learned that behavior. We were promised ongoing support and advice, but when we reached out to the trainer, Rose, for help, she initially offered a follow-up lesson, which was supposed to be part of the contract, not an extra service. However, Rose failed to honor her commitment and did not show up as promised because we shared with her our opinion of noticing signs of sedations the day she brought him back home. Therefore, she decided to break her contract by notifying us that she will not offer any other help after the follow up lesson that she ended up not showing up anyways. Her contract says “follow up lessons will be provided”, but unfortunately we didn’t get to receive any. In addition to these issues, it’s worth noting that the house where they train the dogs and live is extremely dusty. This entire experience has left us deeply frustrated and upset. Entrusting our dog to a professional for training was supposed to be a positive and transformative experience, but it has turned into a regrettable and costly mistake. The lack of results, combined with Rose’s unfulfilled promises and unprofessional conduct, is completely unacceptable. I urge anyone considering dog training services to thoroughly research and vet their options to avoid falling victim to in my opinion scams like this one. It's essential to find trainers with a proven track record of success and transparent, honest communication. Our experience serves as a cautionary tale, and I hope others can learn from our unfortunate ordeal. Adding the fact that Rose does not accept credit cards as a payment method, which in my view may raise concerns about accountability for her services. It's worth noting that I take responsibility for not researching her thoroughly and ignoring my instincts when I saw her house. Rose, I appreciate your response, but I strongly believe that your timeline and account of the situation do not align with the reality of what happened. I have provided documentation and videos that demonstrate Teddy's behavior after your alleged training, and we stand by our original review, which is based on factual events. We are disappointed by what we see as a distortion of the truth. If anyone is considering spending $3300 and wants to avoid broken commitments, kenneling their dog instead of training, and missed appointments, I would suggest exploring Canine Linguistics as an alternative option.
