I can’t even begin to explain the experience with them. Each and everyone of Chuck Farinella (the owner) employees are amazing. It’s been the best experience for us as a dog owner and for our dog George. They just don’t train the dog. They train us as a dog owner!!!
This place really gave Whistler a great head start with basic training and socialization. They have been extremely accommodating with scheduling our lessons and we’ve truly enjoyed the trainers. We haven’t boarded him yet, but feel at ease that he will stay with a familiar face.

Absolutely love the staff here. I have used them for training, boarding and grooming over the course of a few months. The first week that I signed up I was actually going on vacation and Chuck was able to take my pup Penny into his home with short notice. Penny knows as soon as I grab a certain leash that she is heading out to them for the day and she is always excited and ready to go. I noticed in the first week that I had a calmer dog. I love the grooming. I am able to drop her off for the day and get her bathed, etc and she comes back clean and fluffy every time.
My pup, Tater Tot loves coming here for training and fun! Tater is a corgi and can be stubborn (listens when it’s convenient for him) and requires time to burn off excess energy. My pup, Tater Tot loves coming here for training and fun! Tater is a corgi and can be stubborn (listens when it’s convenient for him) and requires time to burn off excess energy. Dog Training & Grooming Downers Grove has significantly helped with both. Tater has been coming here for the past 3 months and I have seen a significant difference in obedience and he comes home pooped (much appreciated sometimes)! The trainers are energetic and very knowledgeable. The one-on-one sessions made me realize how important it is not only for my dog to be trained, but also me! We will continue to come here for training/daycare in the future! I’d recommend this facility to anyone and their pet.
