Canine Karma Dog Training

Five stars is not nearly enough for Canine Karma Training!! We can't say enough great things about David, Isabela, and their team of trainers! Our 5 year old hound mix, Tracker, completed a 30 day board and train program and his transformation has been incredible. Tracker had a tough start - he spent three months in a shelter before we adopted him, and he came to us a bit anxious, defiant, and unsure of how to settle into home life. We could tell that he was a good dog deep down, but we knew that we needed help. Our two other dogs were having difficulty learning how to handle the level of energy and behaviors that Tracker came home with, and we were having a lot of trouble reading his actions and barks/howls. We spent the first month with gates throughout our house trying to keep our dogs and Tracker separate while everyone adjusted. We contacted four trainers, and Canine Karma Training was the only one to respond (and quite quickly!). We were extremely impressed with the information David provided during the consultation, and we knew that Canine Karma Training was the trainer we needed for Tracker. We weren't originally considering a board and train program, but after everything discussed during the consultation, we knew Tracker would benefit so much more from the training that he would receive, if boarded. During the time between the consultation and the day we dropped Tracker off, we had wondered if we were making the right choice in boarding him. We didn't want him to think that we had abandoned him, but David and Isabela made us feel comfortable and confident about our decision. When we brought Tracker for the drop off, our nerves were instantly calmed, and we could tell that they would treat Tracker as they would one of their own. From the beginning, communication was clear, consistent, and incredibly reassuring. We received regular updates, photos, and videos that made us feel completely involved and connected. We were quite impressed with the thoroughness of the pickup process after the 30 days were completed. David and Isabela spent the afternoon showing us what Tracker had learned and how to incorporate everything into our home life. Tracker's transformation has been truly amazing. He is now much calmer, happier, more responsive, and visibly more confident. All of the negative behaviors that had made us nervous and uneasy are gone. Our other dogs can tell the change in Tracker's vibes and are now comfortable with him joining our family. What really sets Canine Karma Training apart is the ongoing support even after the program ended. They’ve continued to check in with us, offer advice, and ensure that Tracker is staying on track. Not only did they work wonders with Tracker, but they also equipped us with the knowledge and tools to support his progress at home. It’s clear they genuinely care about the long-term success of both the dog and the owner. We’re so grateful for their patience, expertise, and continued encouragement. We are truly grateful for David, Isabela, and the team of trainers at Canine Karma Training. We are beyond thrilled with the results Dave, Isabela, and the Canine Karma Training team achieved with our new family puppy "Jack." Jack had some typical puppy behavior issues, and with personalized training tailored to his needs, we’ve seen quite the transformation. Dave and Isabela’s gentle approach not only improved Jack’s behavior but also provided him (and us) with the fundamentals and skills needed to conquer anything! They maintained continuous communication with us throughout the process, offering guidance and support every step of the way. We love Canine Karma Training. Our dog has made such amazing strides in his training in just the first week of his stay and we couldn't be happier. Most importantly is the emphasis on working with the owner to change the bad habits and behaviors we have to solidify the training to do the right thing for our dog. Lastly, we have finally found the pet nutritionist we've been searching for years for. They will work with you and your pet to create a diet plan that will work best with you and your pet to help ensure your furry family member will have the healthy well balanced diet they deserve. Canine Karma will be a part of our family forever as we will always return for training refreshers and dietry advice. As we adopt more pets and move into fostering later on, our first call will always be to Canine Karma Training to get the pet on the right track quickly.

Canine Karma Training changed not only me and my dogs relationship but also our life! My dog was a very fearful, insecure dog, that would get scared by very minimal noises, going in high trafficked areas, etc.. My vet even made me give him calming medication for an annual visit because he was so timid and scared at the vet. After this experience I was very concerned and unsure of what to do. I then came across Canine Karma Training, And couldn’t be more happy that I did! After a consultation with Dave which was a very educational session, I decided to do a board and train! This was a first for me, but knowing how knowledgeable and nice Isabela and Dave were I knew my dog was in good hands! I now have a dog that is building more confidence day by day and that wouldn’t have been possible without the help and patience from Dave, Isabela, and their team!
