Canine Karma

Canine Karma has been great for our little pack! We just finished the Star class with Bryn and Tina with our lab mix Vinny and he progressed so much! The classes were so much fun! Bryn was great as a new instructor! We can't wait for our next class! His big brother Arlo also went through classes as a puppy and learned to be a good boy because of it! Thanks Canine Karma for such a positive training facility for the dogs in our community!

Not only can you teach an old dog new tricks you can teach an old person new tricks!! I have been involved in dog training for almost 40 years. I have therefore been involved with many dog training schools over the years as well. The art of dog training has changed significantly. Canine Karma is certainly on the cutting edge of the latest and greatest. I have learned so much. It is a function of not just their knowledge but their teaching style that makes it so easy to learn so quickly. If you want to own a dog who will become a JOY to live with as opposed to a dog that you cannot trust or is just not the companion you want in your home I would highly recommend Canine Karma.

I have been taking my German shepherd to see Tina since roughly February of 2021. Things started out great with him in puppy preschool but he had a few negative experiences at the vet and seemed to pretty well shut down in public towards the end of his group STAR classes. At the time I felt like I may have gotten in way over my head and I really was not confident in my ability to help him work through his fears. He is a very large boy and so scared I could not get him to walk through a doorway, there were more than a few occasions where I have had to carry him into a class or vet appointment. While I still know he has a long way to go I feel much more confident with the tools, endless advice, and private lessons Tina has offered. It would be almost impossible to explain everything she has done for my boy in a review, but he has finally reached a point where he is mostly accepting of strangers, can walk through new doorways, go on a walk through the neighborhood or park with out jumping barking and trying to run away from everything new he sees. I highly recommend her services if you have any dog training needs.

I discovered Canine Karma about a year ago when I was desperate for help with our severely reactive 3 year old pit mix. We had no idea where to even begin, Tina was extremely thorough and helpful in figuring out where to begin, what was best for us as a family as well as what was best for our dog. We figured out he needed a lot more help than we realized but more importantly that WE were the ones with work to do. Tina and her staff helped us realize if we wanted to see real change in our dog WE needed to put in the work. She helped us create a much calmer, well behaved and happier pup. She was able to help us make enough progress that we were able to introduce a puppy to the family! (This was previously impossible!) We now go to Canine Karma for all of our dog related needs. And we started the puppy off right by enrolling her in ALL the classes!! Now we have two happy, healthy dogs that live harmoniously together! I could not be more thankful to Canine Karma.❤️
