Canine Karma

Eden is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone! My dog (3-year old rescue hound-mix) has pretty severe leash reactivity and nothing I did seemed to help. I have talked to another trainer in the past, but we didn't really click. I did tons of research on trainers in this area to make sure I found someone with the right philosophy who used positive reinforcement. Even during my initial Zoom meeting with Eden I learned so much! She asked all kinds of questions about my dog's reactions in different scenarios and his history. She explained *why* he is likely having this reaction in a way that was easy to understand. When we had our first in-person session, Eden explained the rationale for all of the training techniques she suggested, and she was happy to answer all kinds of questions I had. Eden is professional, knowledgeable, and above all respectful of dogs, their needs, and their boundaries. Working with her was an absolute pleasure and I am so thankful for all of her help. I have never been more optimistic about my dog's future.

I absolutely adore Eden and I am so thankful for her! My dog is extremely leash reactive. We’ve seen a couple trainers and have been working with our vet, who is also a behaviorist, to fix his reactivity. Our vet recommended Eden. I wish I had reached out to her sooner. She is truly phenomenal. My dog greeted her on leash enthusiastically the first time he met her, so I instantly knew she was great. During our consultation she let me ask a million and one questions, came up with a game plan, and explained her training methods. I told her my goal was to get our dog to the point where he was confident on leash, able to walk by dogs with no reaction, and potentially meet new dogs on leash. She does not trash other trainers or methods, and simply explained why she uses the methods she does. In our second training session our dog met a dog on leash with zero reaction. We haven’t seen that since he was a 9 month old puppy. I could have cried I was so happy. Eden is kind, she communicates in a way that is encouraging and informative, and she truly puts out results. You’re learning every minute of the session as she takes the time to point out any behavior of your dog and explain it, meaning you truly understand why, where and how the training is working for you and the dog. The fact that she travels is amazing as well, as our next step is to work on his areas where he’s the most reactive. I feel more confident handling my dog already. Anyone with a reactive dog knows how frustrating and exhausting it can be. I feel like a weight is being lifted working with Eden. I look forward to more sessions with her and reaching my personal training goal with my dog.
