With a focus on canine psychology, we take the time to explain valuable insights to how your dog receives information, learns, and what your dog is saying helping improve communication between (wo)man and a (wo)man’s best friend! We provide training for dogs of any age, any breed, and any behavioral problem. We also provide education in schools and daycares, bringing dogs in and teaching psychology and communication on dogs and education on humans.

What is I cit dog training
CIT stands for Canine Initiative Training LLC. We offer convenient in home private dog training and focus heavily on education for both owner and their pets. Since dogs did not take a class in English (or any human language) pre-birth, we help bridge the gap of communication for the owners while teaching dogs what to do or not to do, based on what the owners prefer.

Mariana is a Lifesaver!! She has been amazing with our puppy -Bear!! I am not a huge dog person, and I was very nervous about getting a dog with two teenage boys. Mariana has been a life saver with my puppy. He has learned so much and her constant reinforcement that we are doing great has helped so much. Toby loves his time with her and is growing so much in what is right and what is wrong while making it all fun for the dog learning new things each time. I would highly recommend asking for Mariana when you book your sessions!

I have no reservations giving Mariana and CIT a 5 star review. I would give her 6 stars if I could. We shopped several training schools in Houston, in Texas, and even out of state. After several in-person and over the phone interviews, the choice was easy. At our initial in-home consultation, Mariana seemed very knowledgeable and easy going. We had the chance to ask all the questions we wanted and the whole process was super comfortable. She got results at Day 1. She taught us what to do and how to do it. We could see that she “spoke their language”. We felt a much stronger bond to our dog from that day and are much more comfortable going out on family outings. Mariana is very punctual and we appreciate the fact that she confirms her appointments by text the day before. I have recommended her to several friends and family already. We look forward to continuing our education with Mariana and CIT.
We hired CIT to help with our 9 month old husky puppy. Our trainer, Mariana has been amazing! You can tell she loves animals and really understands their psychology. Our pup is able to follow commands while walking and camping. She also has been a huge help teaching our four year old how to interact with our puppy. I would highly recommend CIT and ask for Mariana she is wonderful!!!
