Step one - Building the relationship and learning what that really means. I became immediately fascinated with the science. Actual science. Not an opinion, not some knuckle head on YOUTUBE "fixing" a dog, actual science-based techniques that Bart has used for decades. Techniques that both educate the handler and give the dog a choice. I highly recommend Bart and his program. His weekly classes are very interesting. Often times classes include client / dog interactions. The behaviors ( both human and canine ) are observed and discussed. I really enjoy this. We learn as a group and help each other to understand the process.
