Canine Elite Obedience

Dawn is awesome and definitely knows what she’s doing. We were at the end of the road with our 4 year old catahoula Axle who has had a history of food aggression and anxiety. Dawn came in and in 5 mins had axle working like he was trained. Back story axle was sent to a board and train at 1 years old a month later we go to pick him and and while the training was good no instruction was given to my wife or I on how to continue the process and how to use the Ecollar to correct and train him. Dawn spent more than two hours with us working axle and going over drills to run and how to desensitize him from food. It was a pleasure to watch her work and to get my best friend axle back to minding and acting correct.

Dawn and I messaged back and forth and few times until ultimately we made a plan to have a phone conversation. I expected a 10 minute phone call but it ended up being almost one hour followed by videos of her with her own dogs and others she had trained. I also had a very nice reference from a local groomer that knows Dawn. She gave me 3 numbers to call to check and see if they gave good information and reviews. I got nothing but positive feedback. We let her take our 4.5 old month Goldendoodle (stubborn as a mule- but a great personality dog) Once there she alerted the pup may have a UTI which we had already taken him to the vet days prior and they should have known it. We got our dog back for treatment and dropped him off 2 hours later. It pushed his training back farther bc of the meds and bladder illness. No fault to Dawn! Great Catch. We were given a few updates here and there. Dawn and her mother also got the Flu bug so she requested our dog stay an extra week at zero charge. Once Dawn brought our boy home we immediately knew he was the same but different. He jumped 99% less but was happy. He didn’t try to “chew” on my son zero times in the first 24 hours like before. He ripped skin before. I didn’t like the tool at the beginning but I trust myself and it now. He was a crazy puppy before and now he is calm and knows he is safe. We didn’t think we could keep him until we met Dawn. First 24-36 hours of CEO and Dawn have been marvelous. She’s coming back Sunday at zero charge to check on us and give us more commands. She stayed at our home for 2 hours to show us how to follow through with her techniques. And it’s been great. My 10 year old son can take him on a walk to a nearby place and return home and I don’t worry any longer. He signals to potty 100/100 times now. 5 ⭐️’s right now!! Beautiful updates to follow.

We had a very scared and unsettled English Mastiff baby boy. Dawn took the time to really understand what our little guy needed and focused on building his confidence before moving to the next level. She was beyond patient and loving, treating him like her own and giving him all the time and attention he needed to be a confident guy. His training was built on his confidence and when he came home it was a beautiful homecoming. We can go on walks, play in the backyard, and everyone including our fur baby is overjoyed and thankful for Dawn’s training and guidance. Highly recommend her services!!!
