Canine Einstein

We have worked with Dawn and her team with our dog for a number of years and we were so excited that she decided to open Canine Einstein in Bay View. Over the years our dog has developed reactivity to other dogs, so we reserve weekly time at Canine Einstein. The team at Canine Einstein makes sure there is time between reservations so there are no unintentional contacts between reactive dogs. The gym is set up with new activities each time we bring him. They bring out his favorites as well as putting out new things for him to try each time. Since he’s been doing gym time, he is smiling more and less reactive after gym time. It is so beneficial to our relationship with our pup to see him from the Canine Einstein team’s perspective! Since they opened their doors, we have also attended the community lectures they have hosted. The cost to attend is reasonably priced, not to mention donated! And we’ve left each lecture with a handful of ideas that work for our unique dog. We’ve learned how to engage our dog’s mind using DIY puzzles and games. We have learned how to diversify his nutrition. We’ve learned more about our dog’s sense of smell and how he explores his world. It’s awesome how Canine Einstein has connected us to many community businesses (from specialty trainers to pet stores to groomers) that align with how we like to care for our dog. We are grateful for Canine Einstein’s knowledgeable, and positive approach to helping us care for our dog. And if you can’t tell, we can’t recommend them enough!
