FirstBarkLucas and Megan did a wonderful job with Bentley, our 4 yr old golden retriever. They trained him for three weeks at their overnite facility. He is much calmer now and we are able to walk him for the first time with a loose leash. Highly recommended.

With over 30 years of experience, our trainers are experienced to handle a variety of different services. In addition to our top-rated dog training programs, we also offer dog boarding in Montgomery County and structured, enriching dog day care in Montgomery County, ensuring your pup stays active, socialized, and well-cared for while you're away. Our climate controlled dog facility kept at a comfortable 70 degrees and is monitored with cameras for added security. Whether you need training, boarding, grooming, or all of the above, Canine Country has you covered.

Receive 10 private lessons where we work on reliable off-leash recall (“come” command), comprehension of the “sit”, “down”, and “place” command off-leash, and loose-leash walking around distractions and other dogs. The lessons take place over a 14 week time span.
Receive professional one-on-one dog training where trainers will work on recall ("come" command), on-leash walking, and comprehension of basic commands with your pup. The package takes place over the course of 7 weeks.

I was extremely upset with how Canine Country treated my dog. I used to take him there for doggie daycare until one day they called me to tell me he was being too aggressive and I either had to take THEIR obedience classes or leave. I was told by the owner that this had been going on for weeks (even though nobody ever said a word to me about it). My dog has been around other dogs his entire life from dog parks to obedience classes and had never once shown aggression until I brought him there. There are entirely too many dogs in one room and not enough staff to ensure all dogs are being properly handled. It took a while after bringing him there for me to be able to have him around other dogs. Thankfully now he is back to his normal loving self. Don’t let their good ratings fool you like they did me.
