Proudly under new ownership as of January 2026. Our dog training programs are designed for of all breeds, ages & backgrounds. With over 30 years of experience, our trainers are experienced to handle a variety of different services. In addition to our top-rated dog training programs, we also offer dog boarding in Montgomery County and structured, enriching dog day care in Montgomery County, ensuring your pup stays active, socialized, and well-cared for while you're away. Our climate controlled dog facility kept at a comfortable 70 degrees and is monitored with cameras for added security. Whether you need training, boarding, grooming, or all of the above, Canine Country has you covered.

This Board & Train program includes 5 weekly follow up lessons to establish in-home results and as-needed private lessons for 2 months.

Receive 10 private lessons where we work on reliable off-leash recall (“come” command), comprehension of the “sit”, “down”, and “place” command off-leash, and loose-leash walking around distractions and other dogs. The lessons take place over a 14 week time span.
Receive professional one-on-one dog training where trainers will work on recall ("come" command), on-leash walking, and comprehension of basic commands with your pup. The package takes place over the course of 7 weeks.

This is a hybrid program for those who don’t want to send their dog away. You can choose from a 1 or 2 week program Monday - Friday. During their stay we will work on all basic commands and leash walking, as well as minor behavior modification.

Our family has had a great experience with Canine Country over the course of the past several months which included an intense two-week training stay at Canine Country. Most specifically we’d like to thank and highlight Jordan for how he trained and cared for Lewis (nearly 3-year-old rescue - cattle dog/pit mix). Jordan took great care to listen to our concerns about Lewis’ challenging behaviors that were very negatively impacting our lives, then went to work teaching us and Lewis how to communicate. Lewis jumped on (and barked intensely at) house guests, pulled us and was aggressive toward neighbors and their dogs on walks, and was negatively influencing the behaviors of our second rescue (2-year-old lab/pit mix). However, Lewis came home a different dog (in a very good way) and these behaviors are on course to be fully eradicated. It was very important to us (most specifically our kids) to know that Lewis was treated with love and care during his stay and training regiment so Jordan took great care communicating progress including sending along videos which eased the pain of missing him. Big thanks to (and our strongest endorsement of) Jordan, David and the entire training and boarding team at Canine Country!
Canine Country is one of the only kennels I recommend for my clients due to David Owens and the rest of his kennel team. His knowledge of canine behavior, body language and animal care makes it an easy recommendation for any family, regardless of special considerations for their dog.
I had used them for years and loved it. It is now under new management. I left messages, and no one returned my call. I booked with another kennel.
Had our puppy's first grooming and had a great experience. It was reasonably priced and easy to book. My 5 months old pup seemed happy when I left her and picked her up. The groomers were super nice and said she did great.
