FirstBarkCanine Country is the best! My dog is well cared for when I'm gone and I never have to worry because he's in excellent hands. I also get grooming services before picking him up so he comes home smelling great! Highly recommend. The staff is amazing!!

Proudly under new ownership as of January 2026. Our dog training programs are designed for of all breeds, ages & backgrounds. With over 30 years of experience, our trainers are experienced to handle a variety of different services. In addition to our top-rated dog training programs, we also offer dog boarding in Montgomery County and structured, enriching dog day care in Montgomery County, ensuring your pup stays active, socialized, and well-cared for while you're away. Our climate controlled dog facility kept at a comfortable 70 degrees and is monitored with cameras for added security. Whether you need training, boarding, grooming, or all of the above, Canine Country has you covered.

Receive 10 private lessons where we work on reliable off-leash recall (“come” command), comprehension of the “sit”, “down”, and “place” command off-leash, and loose-leash walking around distractions and other dogs. The lessons take place over a 14 week time span.
Receive professional one-on-one dog training where trainers will work on recall ("come" command), on-leash walking, and comprehension of basic commands with your pup. The package takes place over the course of 7 weeks.

I can’t say enough great things about this place! From the moment I dropped my dog off, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in caring, capable hands. The staff truly treats every dog like family — not just another booking. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and you can tell the dogs are happy, safe, and getting plenty of attention. I loved the communication and updates, and when I picked my dog up, they were relaxed, healthy, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief to find a kennel you can genuinely trust. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else and highly recommend this company to any pet parent looking for quality care and peace of mind.

He did have some behavior issues with his grooming and I believe his groomers name was Dawn. She took her time and we've been seeing him grow at home Into a pup that loves to be groomed at home! We've met all the staff and they are amazing at what they do! We have had him in daycare and he did do a few days in the kennel. It's a small place compared to the big box stores. He used to go to best friends and PetSmart he was traumatized after being there. So, we love canine because you can see the compassion this place offers your fur baby!
Canine Country looked after my mother-in-law’s dog for almost ten years since he was a puppy. When she fell into ill-health and he needed to stay there long term they were kind, loving, and took excellent care of him. They assisted us with finding him a new home, and took excellent care of him. Thank you on behalf of Pops! An amazing place.
We followed Dawn to Canine Country, because she’s the best and our pup loves her! The place is very clean and has a cozy atmosphere, staff is friendly and helpful and the pricing is on par, if not cheaper than the big chain’s nowadays - definitely a great place for grooming your furbaby!
