Canine Counselors

We had an excellent experience working with Laura as our dog trainer! She was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and she helped our dog Simon make real progress on several fronts. From teaching him new commands to helping him stay calm when we have people over, and improving his behavior on walks, Laura provided clear guidance and practical strategies that really worked. Simon responded well to her approach, and we feel much more confident managing his behavior thanks to her. Highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate trainer!

I was fortunate to get to meet Danielle. She is a very talented trainer who really understands the nature of dogs. I have a 16 month old intact Golden Retriever. Danielle helped me to sort out what problems were typically adolescent and what issues would be responsive to training. Wrennie had basic obedience but needed help around new situations and distractions. He is going to be my service dog so he has to be able to roll with lots of different environments and experiences. She was willing to meet me at local shopping centers and we had lots of opportunities to tempt him with food, small children and toys. Danielle is full of energy and encouragement, traits that are crucial to being a great trainer. She has been doing this for years. Mostly we had fun while training. I was stressing over a lot of things that were related to his adolescence. We worked on all of his issues. the main one being his attention span. We are not even done yet but I have been so impressed that I felt the need to write this review. Thank you, Danielle!
