Prior to getting our current dog, Spencer, we had a fearful, slightly aggressive dog. Spencer is not like that at all, but most of our training habits revolved around working with a fearful/aggressive dog rather than a friendly, curious, excited puppy. Ben helped us unlearn our old training habits and develop new ways of interacting with Spencer, supporting his energy levels with less control, and how to engage his mental as well as his physical needs. It has significantly decreased leash biting and having to pull him on walks. 100% would recommend him and use him again should Spencer develop any other behaviors that are problematic.

Ben has changed our lives for the better. We’ve seen major improvements with our dog Bernie who is leash reactive/conflicted after only 1 month and two sessions with Ben so far. We have techniques to help address her emotions in positive ways in the house so people can actually visit or ring the door bell without complete meltdowns or jealousy of our other dog. Walking her on leash with the help of the gentle leader and guidance from Ben is like walking a completely different dog. I can’t believe the change I’ve seen in her a short amount of time.

Oh my....one of my new favorite sayings is, "Everyone needs a Ben in their life". This is going to sound dramatic, but working with Ben was life changing...for Addie, my pup, but especially me. Ben doesn't just help dogs with their behavior challenges, he teaches the dog's humans how to support and understand their pup's needs. With Ben, I learned the small (and sometimes not so small) things I was doing that were directly impacting my dog's actions. My huge, leash reactive, prey-driven girl, who had dragged me down to the ground on more than one occasion now walks with a loose leash and looks up to me when we see squirrels and rabbits and other dogs (well, most of the time!). Addie also had trouble trusting new dogs and the picture of her on the ground with Stan is nothing short of a miracle. The first time those two met, she did a few 360's in the air and barked like the world was going to end. With Ben's help, she can now make friends. Please: for your dog, for you....get yourself a Ben!

My husband and I couldn’t recommend Ben enough! We’ve worked with Ben with our rescue dog, Luna, who struggles with reactivity with strangers entering the home. He educated us on how to set Luna and visitors up for success through patient coaching. Prior to working with Ben we would not have friends or family come over due to Luna’s reactivity. With Ben’s calm and educational guidance, we now feel equipped with how to have visitors come into our home and meet Luna with minimal stress. He is beyond talented and has such a skill with understanding dogs. We are very thankful for all Ben has done for us and Luna!

My dog Stan and I worked with Ben for about 6 months. I had never had a dog that had the needs that Stan had and Ben helped us so much. He came in ready to work with us from minute 1. It was a great process. He increased my confidence with my dog and he really helped Stan and I build a trusting relationship. Ben even took the time to work with Stan and I and other dogs so that we could continue socializing with our friends with dogs. Ben is the best. You will not be sorry if you work with him.
