Canine Cooperative

No words can explain how lucky we are to have found Good Dogma to enroll our 7 month Goldendoodle puppy into the Stay & Learn program. Sabrina taught us how to actually enjoy life with him, something that we didn't think was possible after 5 long, exhausting, defeating months that quite honestly, were no fun at all. We are a family with 3 kids and another mellow dog and thought adding a puppy would be nice for everyone. Hudson got worse and worse with his out of control behavior, despite us trying so hard. He was so mouthy, jumped on people, barked non-stop, ate socks and everything else, had to chase him and pry his mouth open to get inedible objects out of his mouth, was too rough with our older dog, the kids couldn't even pet or be near him without him biting them, pulling on their clothes and knocking them over jumping, on leash manners was all pulling and barking, we couldn't take him in public at all, had to tell people not to ring the doorbell, tried to keep anyone from visiting our house because he'd go wild, bathroom accidents, head in the dishwasher, counter surfing in kitchen, non stop barking in crate, the list goes on and on...We were considering giving up and rehoming because it was overwhelming and too much for us. We decided enrolling him in this program was our last effort. We went for three 2 hour sessions during the training that was so helpful to transfer the training and train us! Sixteen days later, Hudson has been home for 48 hours and he's so peaceful now. We keep him calm by controlling his space and he's honestly a different dog! My mom was over and we all ate at the table with him calm laying next to us. It was amazing. Miracle! We were all in awe how well he suddenly listens! No more jumping, barking, biting, eating stuff and running, pulling on leash and best of all he actually listens when we say "no" calmly! I had a guest walk in the house today and he stayed on place, down the entire time no barking, while my guest and I walked around the whole house. He even lays down now and relaxes in the crate, which he just didn't know how to do before. Incredible. Kids can actually pet him and he remains calm lying down. Changed our life with him forever. Grateful and soooo thankful to Sabrina who listens to every issue you are having, observes and helps teach you in the one on one sessions how to bring the training home. She will teach your family and your dog how to have a better life together. She is very responsive also to any questions always, even after bringing him home. It is obvious how much she cares and is passionate about what she does. I cannot recommend Good Dogma enough if you are at the end of your rope with your dog's behavior. You won't regret it and worth every penny!

Sabrina is amazing! Great communication and very realistic expectations were set from start to finish. We had some setbacks with JJ, but Sabrina worked him though it and we are so happy with his behavior. JJ is mini golden doodle and he did the stay and train program at approx 8 months old. He is now 2 months post program and we are so happy with the results. He is calm in the house and we now have a language he understands. Of course he isn’t perfect and we have had challenges with 3 young kids, but we worked with the kids to follow the training that was implemented and even they say “JJ is so good now.” Our older dog has started to model some of the behaviors of JJ like sitting and waiting at the door way for permission to go through before going outside. I highly recommend the stay and train program if you want to get your puppy off on the right start. I wish we did the program with our older dog back when he was a puppy.

We have a very strong willed dog who has basically taken over our home but is nice enough to let us live in it. At our wits' end, we contacted Jamie. After one session with her so far, the dog is already changing for the better, and we have hope that we can make him a member of our family, instead of us being victims in his reign of terror. We have a long way to go with him, but are amazed with what she has done in such a short time. She has taught him and has taught us a lot in that one session. Our new understanding of his behaviors has started us on a journey we anticipate ending well with no more biting, guarding and terrorizing of us all and our guests.

We took our 8 month old pup on her first camping trip & thanks to Sabrina & her stay & learn program she did amazing! She heeled, sat & would come when called (all off leash) with so much going on around her, lots of people, dogs, atv’s etc. And wow, “tone” recall when she was on the other side of the property, love it! We’re soo proud of Nyla & her training! Sabrina is amazing at what she does, we can’t thank her enough for her expertise in training & teaching us!!!
