Canine Connoisseur Relationship-based Dog Training

I waited a good long while to write this review. Nick was awesome! I sent two of my dogs to the two week board and trainer the same time & neither had slept in a crate before. Prior to, they would bark and whine if I put them in there. Now both dogs walk in freely and sleep all night. Both dogs seem to be more confident and willing to try new things. Their separation anxiety from each other and me has decreased. I am more than happy! I’d send them again for the ecollar training.

We have 2 American Bullys and they were boarded for a week followed by 2 weeks of training and an additional week of e collar training. It’s like night and day with our pups. Not only did he lay the foundation for off leash training , he also gave us useful information that helped us as dog owners understand our dogs behavior and how to properly communicate with our dogs. I highly recommend Canine Connoisseur! He works wonders and definitely knows what he’s doing !

We took our 1yr old Golden Retriever to Nick because we just weren't getting the recall and responses we wanted from her. After being with Nick and Nick giving us some instruction, she is a different dog. Don't get me wrong. She still has puppy energy and is not perfect yet, but her recall is great, and we have her off leash when she is outside with us. My wife commented she didn't know if that would ever happen. We also have kenneled her with Nick and love the attention she gets, the reinforcement of skills, and the interaction with other dogs. Would highly recommend Nick's services if your dog is not behaving as you desire.

If you ever need a dog trainer, there’s no reason to look any further than your own backyard, right here in Marion Indiana! We have an absolute gem of a dog trainer-Canine connoisseur- Nick Walking Corey. My nine month golden retriever spent a few weeks with Nick😊 We were having trouble with leash walking , reactivity, jumping, appropriate boundaries and all the stupid puppy behaviors. Thanks to Nick, we now have a dog that we can enjoy, take places and, not worry about her being a complete lunatic. I wish that I would’ve known about Nick/Canine Connoisseur. I foolishly took my dog to Indianapolis for training which was twice the price of what Nick charges. My dog was there for seven lessons we learned nothing and her behavior was worse. Every time that I pick her up, they would hand me a new leash, training collar or bag of treats that they felt that I should purchase to help with my dog’s training. I didn’t even know how to safely get my dog out of the car, without worrying about her running into traffic. When I showed up to Nick’s , this was the first thing he taught me. Knowing that I could safely get my dog out of the car without her sprinting or running away, made me realize that I need Nick’s help. I think I also realized that I was the problem, not the dog and that you don’t need 1 million different training tools. You just need to know how to use one of them app appropriately and how to appropriately communicate to your dog.🐕
