Canine Connoisseur Relationship-based Dog Training

Been working with Nick for a few months with our new puppy. This guy is the real deal. He not only understands how to train dogs, he understands the WHY behind the dogs behavior. My dog Kingston is a large breed dog and very head strong, but with the tools I’ve learned from Nick, I now understand the behavior and Kingston is responding to the training very well! I’d highly encourage anyone to use Nick for all your dog obedience training.

I found Nicholas and Canine Connoisseur on Facebook while searching for dog trainers for my new rescue Vegas. I decided to give CC and Nicholas a shot after reading through his information. During Vegas training time, I was able to view some of the training videos on line, which was nice, to see what my Vegas was learning. Nicholas did ask for additional training time with Vegas, at no extra charge, which showed me it wasn’t just about the $$ and that Nicholas truly cared and was very driven to do his best with the training of my Vegas. Nicholas did spend time with me as well on the best way to give commands to Vegas which helped also. I have used Nicholas for boarding as well since the initial training as I felt Vegas was getting the best care possible. I know he gets several walks daily as well as play time and additional training refreshers instead of being locked in the cage for hours on end as he previously would get when doing regular kennel boarding. I just recently was away for a week and had boarded him with Nicholas and to my surprise I saw a video of Vegas chillin on the couch with the family. That really warmed my heart and I knew he was safe and happy with the wagging of his tail. I have one particular training video that I play for Vegas just to see him perk up when he hears Nicholas’s voice. He does the head tilt and tail wagging every single time I play it. That tells me that he does get exceptional treatment when he is with Nicholas. Nick is very knowledgeable and ready to help with any questions.
