Canine Connections Dog Training

We began our experience at the Academy with the Puppy Foundations class for a new member to our family. Dr. Sarah and the trainers' positive reinforcement approach to training matched what we strive to do in our home. The classes helped give us tools to guide our dogs and ongoing enrichment that we use regularly to keep our pups engaged and and mentally healthy. The best service we have used to date is a consultation with their behaviorialist, Anna, for some issues we were experiencing that we knew we needed some expert guidance addressing. Anna took rhe time to listen to the situation, evaluate the pup and the environment, gave us tangible tools to help manage the behavior, and techniques to create an environment where the pup feels safe and secure. Anna was quick to adapt the approach for our individual situation and pup. I have already referred another friend to this service and highly recommend it for anyone else with challenges with their pup. We also use the Canine Connection's PEP Camp, our dog loves their days at Camp!

We took our puppy Violet to Puppy Kindergarten, Acing Adolescence, and Puppy Social. All of the trainers are wonderful. There is lots of space which is very helpful for the different dogs. For instance my dog gets too excited by other dogs so we has ample space as well as low temporary walls so that she wouldn't be as distracted by the other dogs in class which lead to us being able to successfully learn. I've gone through a couple other trainers in the area with our previous puppies and this was the best. Class sizes are nice and manageable too so you get lots of help. I've always wanted to take part in trainings through Canine Connections but it didn't work out until our current dog and this has been by far the best. We'll definitely take part in additional courses!
