Canine Connection

We have been going to dog training and socials at the Canine Connection for years. We started with Puppy Kindergarten helping out with our grand-dogs about 12 years ago and came back for training our very shy and problematic older dog that we inherited from my mom's passing. The classes and shy dog socials really helped Teddy to calm down and be happier in our home. We recently got a miniature poodle puppy and enrolled right away at Canine Connection for Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Social and are very happy to receive valuable information and training to raise our very smart little boy. We have gotten off to a great start with polite behaviors and important recall commands. Bodie is really loving all of it, especially the puppy socials that provide very positive interaction and play with other dogs. We highly recommend Sarah and all of her staff and will be continuing with Puppy Socials and other training classes in the future. In our opinion, it is money very well spent to get the training advice we need and all of our questions answered from professionals with a great wealth of knowledge! One more note about Puppy Socials - the groups of dogs at the socials are well curated to ensure that personalities mesh. We feel so much more at ease in this setting with 3 or more trainers there to ensure polite play from all the dogs. A much better experience than the free for all that can occur at dog parks!

Canine Connection is an awesome place for your fur-family members either for day-care and boarding or their truly positive training classes through any life-stage. They have a great staff and the yard space is well equipped to host daycare in a safe, comfortable and nurturing way. Sarah is awesome. She introduced us to our Annie Bear, our larger than life GS, she took in as a “challenge dog” and saved from “death row” during the Orville Dam evacuation. We took Annie through a Scent training class there at CC. While we thought for sure she was a nose-work failing-student at home, Annie passed with flying colors on final test day. We now have Georgie, who Sarah also brought into our lives. And, with Bravo (her brother from another mother…and father) we are working with Anna, one of the behavioral specialists trainers. Anna did so much just that first consult, and gave us great tools and advice to start helping our dogs (mainly Bravo) work through anxiety and aggression issues. It might seem cheesy to give 5-star reviews, but in this case Sarah and everyone at Canine Connection seriously earned it.
