We are so grateful to have found Mike and Canine Confidence Center! Mike is extremely knowledgeable, caring about our dogs and our family, and overall a great person to be around. We were struggling with our two Rottweiler mix dogs, particular when it came to listening/returning to us outdoors. We live on a large unfenced property and were always nervous when outside with them, which made us less likely to bring them out. After spending time with Mike we have such a better relationship with our dogs and best of all are able to have so much more fun with them. We now feel in control of them outside, which has given us all so much more freedom because we know they’re safe and will come back to us when we need them to. The best part is by learning how to communicate with them better in this way, it’s spilled into other areas too that we weren’t even actively trying to fix. Mike keeps things simple, and makes sure to focus only on the things that will directly benefit the dogs/us instead of adding all sorts of fluff. Our training was pretty straightforward overall, yet it’s improved so many aspects of our life and our dogs’ lives! We are so happy to have found Mike and look forward to continuing to work with him!

Mike is an awesome and knowledgeable trainer. He makes every effort to insure confidence and consistency between the animal and owner. The training experience and recent “tune up” for myself and our rescue Rosa was very positive and empowering. I am a better owner because of Mike. He is committed to making sure concerns or questions are thoroughly addressed. Rosa and I highly recommend!!

Ok- this is an easy review to write- dog owners should travel far and wide to gain some experience and broaden their knowledge as a dog owner with Mike at Canine Confidence !
I have a somewhat smart dog and struggled over the years to find local outlets with structured environements combined to enhance both my dogs life and my life as the owner/ handler and been through a few trainers in polar opposite fields and sadly my dog and I had limited resources when it came to agility / fun and further confidence building. I have always wanted to have more fun with him and nurture his mind and energy levels - by nature he loves agility -
At Canine Confidence I’ve learned I can trust myself more and do more specific tasks with my dog as well as show him to jump right in ( literally) and swim with other dogs - and myself- let him be a dog with other dogs of all shapes and sizes - for me it has not only meant my dog is gaining more confidence but myself as the owner , am gaining more confidence simultaneously .
Now I can’t imagine what our lives would be like without Mike and Canine Confidence Training- we are soon going to sign up for another year of fun and ongoing learning!!

Mike went above and beyond and out of his way to help with our dog after snapping at my 10 month old. His experience and knowledge made us feel more at ease and confident in our dogs ability. There are a lot of dog trainers in this area who think they know what they’re doing but Mike by far has been the most knowledgeable and supportive!

We’ve had a few different dogs over the years and worked with a variety of trainers with varying degrees of success. None of these previous experiences come close to how amazing Mike and the team at Canine Confidence Center are.
We worked with Mike to help train our new (and very energetic) puppy Rosie. Over the course of a few weeks, Rosie was transformed into an obedient pup thanks to Mike’s guidance. What makes CCC so different from other training facilities is their deep understanding of canine behavior, their motives and how each dog learns; you can easily see this if you ever visit their farm and see how the CCC interacts with each dog. Beyond conditioning the dog, Mike’s team goes out of their way to share their knowledge so you can keep the positive momentum going at home.
I’m not sure how many more dogs we will have in the future, but if we do, I’m positive we will bring them to Canine Confidence Center. You should too :)
