Ian was caring, professional, kind and incredibly successful with my little rescue Tot who is so beyong scarred from his past. He stayed for hours and helped teach me how to change my behaviors to help Tot and I noticed a calming difference in my dog from the moment he left. To say Im thankful for Ian is an understatement, it is rare to meet anyone who is as skilled as he is and as caring. I would never go anywhere else and I am inspired by him! Ian was recommended to us by our vet, who also had Ian train her dogs and couldn't say enough good things about him. Well, we are glad we listened. Ian started training Odin when he was a little over 3 months. When he was tiny and I could still carry him, lol. This is our first Cané Corso, and Ian really helped us to really understand him and be able to communicate with him. It has been a year now since we've welcomed Odin into our lives, and he is still doing great with all of the training Ian has taught us. If there are any areas where he has slacked on, it is purely our fault as, of course, there are times when we get a bit too lax and have to get back on the ball. Ian really gave a great foundation to work with, though, and is still available to this day. He answers any questions you may have along the way, and I mean anything. He is really caring and understands dogs. He really truly is a canine communicator. He also really has helped us out by boarding Odin on a few occasions, even at the last minute. The best part of this is that he does not board walk-ins. He only allows dogs to stay with him that he has personally trained and knows. So you know that your dog is going to be with dogs that behave as well as your own. He has a great starter package for basic obedience, some manners, and even leash walking. He also does additional training after if you request more, and he is very flexible. I am truly surprised there are not many more reviews on here, but he does have a FB page where he shares the dogs he trains and sometimes doggy sits and thereare a ton of happy campers there. Odin absolutely loves Ian and his personal dogs. I would recommend him for anyone. However, keep in mind he will only train dogs such as my Cané Corso when they are under a certain age and still a sponge ready to absorb all the training and fun Ian offers. I'd certainly check with him first, though, as I don't work for him. I am sure common sense can tell why i say this, but if you wait too long to train a dog like this, they may not be as receptive to a trainer, plus no one wants to get bit. Get your pups in there early. You won't regret it, we certainly do not and we are currently going to have Ian come help us with a little more advanced training now that Odin just turned 12 Mos. OH, I forgot to mention, he comes to your house and trains in the home and on your property. This is important for me as I don't know how beneficial it is to board and train a dog as they may do wonderful there but then come home and now you're just expecting your dog to do all these wonderful things that you yourself never trained on. This is why when I mention that he trained us, I meant that. He trains us on how to train our dog. That is super important imo.

Ian is the BEST!!!!!! I bought an Australian Cattle Dog puppy and knew nothing about dogs or training or even this breed. Ian swooped in and trained me on how to handle this breed. I lodged my pup with Ian for a month while I was out of country for work, and was 100% confident he was safe and well loved. Ian always answers any questions I have to this day, Dingo is now 2 years old and Ian is "uncle Ina" to my little Dingo.
